"So, have you heard the rumor?" One of the snobby nobles (from Fritz Family? Yeah, it was probably form Fritz with his light blond hair and deep burgundy eyes) piped up during lunch break.

Kris, if he could choose his mate for having a lunch with, would definitely scoot closer to Rudy who was having the time of his life munching away some plain breads that was apparently sent by his brothers and sisters from his orphanage under the tree in the garden. However, since he was told to make friends with those other snobby nobles by his father, he endured their chatter as they ate on the massive table in cafeteria.

It didn't stop Kris from gazing longingly at the garden outside the cafeteria, though everyone else seemed to be oblivious of his obvious sigh as he stared at Rudy. They probably thought that Kris was just bored and aloof as usual.

"What rumor?" Other nobles (from Grand family and Zord Family) asked, seeming to be interested in the news.

Seriously, all they did was gossip. If they had so much free time, why didn't they practice their swordsmanship or sharpen their intelligence?

"It seems that there was a student working as a night consort for some noblewomen during the break," Fritz whispered conspiratorially and the other two nobles immediately gasped indiscreetly.

A vein popped up on Kris' left temple, though nobody seemed to notice his worsening mood as the others got excited at the possible scandal of their supposedly fellow student of Luxtov Academy of Knights. Seriously, why were his noble friends such rotten people? Had they no shame, trying to discredit their fellow knight in training by badmouthing him without him present?

"A night consort for noblewomen? But someone saw he was accompanying some noblemen too," another noble kid, who was at different table, but obviously had no tact because he was blatantly eavesdropping on their conversation (even though Kris didn't contribute at all in the gossip), dropped a line while snickering.

"Ooh! How scandalous!" the other three nobles at Kris' table reacted in such dramatic manner that other noble kids in other tables seemed to notice the slight commotion and started to look interested in their discussion as well.

More veins popped up on Kris's head. They were so noisy. He just wanted to eat in peace!

"Wonder who'd stand so low as to get such shameful job during the break, don't you think?" Fritz chuckled and the others started to put two and two together and they snickered as they seemed to figure out whom was the subject of their gossip.

Kris tightened his hold on the spoon and fork he was holding, frowning deeply.

Others then visibly turned their gaze at the window, focusing their sneering eyes at the brunet who was obliviously eating his bread in such blissful expression. Their gaze turned slightly disgusted and degrading before one of them said something-

"Perhaps, if you ask nicely, he'll drop to his knees and service you for a price."

- which caused Kris to break his spoon in half.

It was a very loud sound that everyone paused and turned to face him, surprised.

"If you don't stop talking now... you're going to be very sorry." Kris said lowly, slowly, while spreading dark bone-chilling aura that caused everyone to screech lightly then immediately avoided Kris' gaze while pretending to go back to their lunch, sweating profusely as they started eating again, face paling severely in terror as they finally detected that Kris wasn't amused with their discussion.

Kris took a deep breath and put down his broken eating utensils before he put the table-cloth on top of his half-finished food and stood up. "I am going to the rest room. Do not follow me." He warned before he walked dignifiedly out of the cafeteria door to the collective relieved sighs of the other noble kids inside.
