Chapter 3

~Phillip's POV~

As Terrence ran away I couldn't help but feel guilty about just jumping on him and kissing him without his permission. I decided to go out for a walk to clear my head. What was I even thinking? Terrence is my best friend but yet I feel like it should be more than just friendship between us. Why can't this just go away?! I looked around me to see where I was and then I saw Terrence. He was sitting on some bench by a lake. I walked to the bench and sat down beside him.

"hey" I said quietly. He didn't answer. "I'm sorry that I just kissed you like that, buddy" I then said.

"why did you do it?" Terrence asked quietly.

"I want to be closer to you" I replied.

"why?"

"I love you"

"but you said that you thought you were in love with me!"

"Now I'm sure! I'm really sorry that I did what I did but I couldn't help myself!! I thought that if I'd done it then you would mabye feel the same way" I looked away "but apparently you don't"

"I.. I did feel something" Terrence said after a moment of silence.

"don't lie to make me feel better"

"I'm not lying! I did feel something, I'm not sure if it was love but I know it was some kind of attraction towards you" Terrence stated. I looked back at him with a smile on my face.

"really??"

"yes" he replied as he leaned closer to my face and then gently pressed his lips against mine. I felt so happy at that moment. After a while he backed away. "I'm pretty sure that I'm falling in love with you too" Terrence then said. My face lit up and then I hugged him thightly.
