"Stop, Harry!" Cherry shrieked.
Harry did everything but and continued to tickle her sides. Cherry's endless laughter could be heard from the other side of the pool.
"Stop, p-please! I'm hungry!"
"Again?" Harry stops and lifts a brow.
"A girl's gotta eat." Cherry snorts.
Cherry hurriedly swims out the pool towards their lounge chair. She grabs her towel along with the chips.
"Hey, can we get going? It's like 10 something." Cherry chimes.
"Now? Come on, let's swim 'til dawn." Harry pleads.
"My eyelids are getting heavy."
Harry sighs, "Fine."
"Thanks," Cherry snickers.
"Do you want to watch a movie when we get home?" Harry suggests.
"Nah, I'm kind of tired." Cherry yawns.
"Okay."
Harry makes his way over to Cherry as he wraps his arm around her waist. Cherry shivers under his touch but later feels comfy.
"What in the world made your mind up about me?" Cherry blurts.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, why do you like me?"
"What's not to like about you? You're gorgeous," Cherry blushes, "you've got a great personality, and, I don't know. You just, kind of clicked."
"Clicked?"
"Yeah, like, we got along real well." He smiles.
"That's great to here." Cherry breathes.
"How about you? Why do you like me?"
"I never said I liked you..." Cherry smirked.
"Come on, be serious." Harry nudged her arm.
"Uh, well, you're face is pretty nice, you're soul is very awesome, and you're a guy."
"Wow," Harry scoffs.
"Yeah, I know. I don't really know how to describe you, Harry."
"Oh, by the way, you looked really good in that bathing suit." Harry laughed.
"Werido..." Cherry stepped away.
"Whatever. I bet you thought I looked good without my shirt on." Harry smirked.
Cherry laughed loud, "Yeah."
Harry scoffed and continued to walk as Cherry ran next to him.
-
"Thanks for tonight, Harry. I had fun." Cherry smiles.
Fortunately, Cherry made it home safely that night. Harry's reckless driving skills made it through the night.
"I'd love for us to do it again." Harry speaks.
"I'll see you tomorrow. Text me when you get home." Cherry says slowly.
Their goodbyes went quickly and Cherry went and hid in the kitchen. She could hear her parents' footsteps come down the stairs.
"Cherry? Cherry, we know you're home." Her mother calls.
"Uh, yeah. I'm gonna go upstairs." Cherry tried her best to climb as fast as she could up the flight of stairs.
"Woah, woah, woah. You're not going anywhere." Her dad stops her.
Cherry sighs as she turns around, she being halfway on the stairs.
"Care to explain?" Her mother chirps in.
"Okay. I was out with a friend, ya-da, ya-da." Cherry nonchalantly explains.
"It's 11:30." Cherry's dad says.
"I've hung out with friends later than that!" Cherry reasons.
"I'll take you're phone for now." Her mom says, her arm extended.
Cherry mutters as she reluctantly hands her the phone.
"You're not getting this back until the weekend."
Cherry throws her hands in the air, "Seriously? Oh my gosh!"
"Zip it with the attitude, will you? Go to your room." Cherry's dad snaps.
Cherry indignantly walks to her room.
"Great. I still have to take a shower."
