Blinking rapidly, Takana tries to focus on her surroundings as she comes to. Her body feels lethargic as she attempts to turn her head, most definitely a side effect of whatever the man had shot her and Neela with.
The thought of Neela has her struggling against the bonds that hold her and the grogginess of her mind. She needed to make sure Neela was okay.
Shaking her head to try to clear her senses, she's soon able to glance around and assess the situation as she starts to regain her senses. She was tied to a chair in the middle of what looked like a warehouse, possibly on the outskirts of Tokyo with a soft gag in her mouth. Her phone was gone as were her shoes. To her back, she can feel someone else's shoulders. That must be Neela.
Sighing in relief, Takana warily searches the immediate area for their abductor. He had to be somewhere around them, right? Not a chance he would leave them in this warehouse with no one to guard them.
"Just in time, sweetheart."
The voice with the distinctive British accent comes from her right where the bays of the warehouse are. Jerking her head to look, Takana frowns when she sees the same man from the gym standing by an open bay. The man was cocky if he wasn't hiding.
"We need to make a quick call." The man walks over and crouches next to her. "Now, I'm going to need you to play up how hurt you are."
Glaring, Takana turns her head away. She wouldn't work with him, especially if it involved lying to anyone.
Pulling her head to face him, his jaw clenches. "Don't make this hard, sweetheart. I won't hurt you. I just need the man I'm going to call to believe that I am."
Takana's glare doesn't budge. Like she would believe him.
"Fine. I guess I'll go kill your friend Han then."
Glare slipping, Takana's eyes widen. Han annoyed her on good days and pissed her off on most, but that didn't mean she wanted him hurt. He was a good person, even if he did try and succeed in ripping her brother and uncle off.
"There we go."
Pulling out a phone, her phone, he types a number in then gently yanks the gag out of her mouth. As the phone rings, Takana notes the time and on her phone and realizes that only a few hours had passed. The girls had gotten to the gym around 6 or 7 in the evening before they were abducted and now it was midnight.
A deep, gravelly voice coming from her phone startles her out of her thoughts.
"Hello?"
"Toretto," The man says, looking at Takana. "You don't know me, but you're about to. Say hello to your niece."
Tears gathering in Takana's eyes at the thought of tricking family she hadn't even met, she speaks when the man beside her prompts her to. Her voice it watery and rough as she says, "Please help me."
The man hangs up the phone with a nod and sets the device on a folding table about ten feet from where the girls sat. "Good job, sweetheart. You two sit tight and I'll be back in a bit."
Standing, he steps around the chairs to face Neela, pulling her gag as well from what Takana can see. He then walks away from the girls, footsteps echoing in the quiet warehouse. Striding out of the open bay, he closes it as he leaves, shrouding the girls in darkness as he disappears from sight.
"Neela!" Takana bumps her hands back against the other girl's.
"What happened?" Neela's voice is rough and she's slurring a bit.
