We finally finished packing all of my essentials into boxes and only then did we realize how much stuff I really have. I'm guessing Jackson was able to guess what I was thinking.

"Don't worry, there's enough room for the two of you and both of your stuff. The dorm rooms there are really huge"

I nod my head, "Right, I wouldn't expect less from a prestigious school"

"So when are you planning to move in?"

"Well the principal says that the dorm room is ready and that Ian is already staying in it so probably tomorrow"

"Alright, I can bring a few boxes there if you want, i'll be passing by your dorm anyways on my way back to mine"

I agree to his suggestion and he then goes on his way. I begin to admire my now empty apartment thinking about how i'm actually going to miss this place. After all, this is where I spent almost all my life. I noticed even the smallest details that have changed over the course of the past years.

How the walls have gone a few shades darker and how the floors have been weakened and tainted over time. I lay down in my empty yet still comfy bed and hope I fall asleep quicker this time. Tomorrow will be one heck of a journey.

By the time I know it, i'm in the school hallways and right in front of my new home. I knock twice. No response. I knock once more and still no response. I decide to just use the keys I was provided with and open the door.

I close the door behind me and there I found Ian sleeping soundly on his bed. Shirtless. Another thing I immediately noticed was that he was a loud snorer. I begin setting down my remaining boxes, opening them as silently as I can and place them in my designated cabinets.

"Who are you?"

A question that came from a deep husky voice, I turn around to find him squinting as he rubs his eyes.

"Sorry for waking you up, i'm your roommate. My name's Alex... Alexander"

He ruffles his hair in an attempt to fix it from its disheveled state. He props himself up with his elbows and says, "My name's Ian and I bet that my parents were the ones who set this up"

Before I could even deny it, he says, "There's no point in thinking of a cover story, I know they did. It's their way of dealing with things"

I nod my head and continue putting my things into place. "So you have a girlfriend or something?"

I don't bother turning around to face him this time, "No, a boyfriend"

"Oh, you're gay"

"As gay as can be"

He laughs, "I think we'd get along"

"How about you?"

"A girlfriend" he says bluntly

"Oh, you're straight" I mimic his earlier statement

"I'm not"

That made me stop in my tracks, "Bi?" I ask. He shakes his head in dismissal and continuous with his smile.

"Then?"

"I'm as gay as can be" he says his smile growing even wider. I walk towards my bed, carrying a box with me on the way. He's gay but has a girlfriend? Once again, I've been easily read because he immediately answers the question I had in my head.

"I'll tell you my story if you tell me yours, in a way it'll help us get to know each other better. Agree?" I nod my head in approval and he continuous, "The reason my parents sent me here was to get my gender straight. Apparently, they think college is a place where you can easily find hot girls that could potentially change my gender so I got a girlfriend just for the sake of it"

I couldn't help but laugh at that. "You seem so different from what I had imagined you to be"

He raises his eyebrow in a questioning look as if asking me to tell him what I initially thought of him, "I thought you were this Mr. Bad boy because of the way you were dressed and the way you were acting"

He lies down against his pillow and says, "Who says i'm not a bad boy?"

"Are you?" I ask, "Maybe, anyways go on with your story"

"Ok so I don't exactly know what you want me to say so i'll say what's on top of my mind. Uh, so, I previously lived in an apartment after running away from my parents house" this seemed to catch his attention and give him a slight shock. "I came out to them when I was barely a teen, I think around the age 13 and they hated it, things happened and so I ran away"

It was silent for a good 5 seconds until he said, "And you say i'm a bad boy, look at you mr. run away"

I shake my head and tell him that he should get ready for the day. I continue unpacking my things into the room and after a while he begins helping me. We got to know a little bit more about each other while doing so.

He asked me about my love story like how me and my boyfriend met. I told him how he's currently going to college in a different state and he asks me how hard long distance relationships are.

"It's hard but he's something else. It took me a long time to find someone who's gay and accepts me. Plus I put him through hell before he could receive my yes"

After about an hour, we hear a knock on the door. It was the principal.

"Ian, Alexander. How are things? Are you two getting along?"

"Things are going great and Ian here is great company"

"That's good to hear, i'll see you around boys"

He leaves and we go back to the remaining things. Ian picks up the last box and places it on my bed. "This box is filled with lot's of art supplies, are you the art teacher or some shit?"

"Of course not, I like art and it's as simple as that. Art is actually the main reason i'm in this school to begin with. I'm here on a scholarship"

"Ahh so you're a prodigy runaway"

After finally unpacking all of my things, we beginning getting ready for the day. Turns out we basically have the same schedule except from the difference in art and music. "You took music?"

"Alexander, dear, you're not the only gifted one. I'm a pretty good musician you know" he says all cockily.

We head to our first class and everything goes by normally until lunch. I meet Jackson and immediately, he has a huge smug grin on his face.

"I'll see you in our next class, I have to go to my girlfriend" he emphasizes on girlfriend reminding me of what he said in the morning.

"So how's living with Mr. hottie?"

"Jackson, you know I have a boyfriend right? Plus he has a girlfriend"

"Alexander, you know I hate your boyfriend right?" I shove him into a seat and tell him to start eating.

Jackson hates my boyfriend, Lucas, simply because Lucas was a jerk and he used to be straight. Straight until he met me. He claims that I had some godly powers to turn him gay and that was one of the reasons why I doubted being in a relationship with him.

Lucas was also a player when he was straight, his body count was through the roof. Jackson never approved of him and keeps warning me about what I was getting myself into but over the years, I got to know more of Lucas and he wasn't as bad as people thought of him.

He was sweet, smart and gentle and on top of that he accepted me for who I am, he won me over with his words paired with his actions and I truly did love him despite the fact that we're now states away from each other.

"You deserve someone better, Alex"

"You hardly know Ian"

"But I sense something different from him"

"You with your senses again"

And that's how lunch went today though I did feel a pair of eyes bore into me. It was Ian. He was staring at me for god knows what.

So yeah... here's another chapter. Hope you enjoyed! :))
