Matt went home later that night, insisting on climbing out the window because he said it was more "ninja" like. it was saturday morning and lynx had just woke up and she was now getting out of the shower.

when she stepped into her room she heard her mom laughing and conversing down stairs. she walked down the hard word floor, and down the stairs to find her mom and Matt conversing over a cup of coffee. lynx rolled her eyes and before she knew it she was on her butt.

due to her recent shower, she slipped on the hard wood floor, knocking down a vase along with her causing it to shatter and cut her leg. Matt came rushing out of the kitchen and towards Lynx. He kneeled down beside her and examined her cut like a doctor, while she examined his. He took his piercing out of his lip and got a haircut.
"Enjoying the view" he asked with a slight chuckle. She glared at him
"Not so much anymore" she smirked at him. And he looked up at her and she immediately looked to the floor, feeling her cheeks heat up.

She let out a shriek of pain. And jerked her leg away from Matt.
"Its a pretty deep cut, looks like miss princess here needs a few stitches." He said and looked up towards lynx's mom , covering her lips trying to hide the smile that appeared as she watched the two of them.

"Ms. Anderson, if you don't mind I'm gonna take lynx to the hospital." He looked for her approval. She waved him off and walked to the kitchen chuckling to herself. Matt picked her up bridal style and carried her to his truck and laid her in the back seat.

"Why do I always end up back here?" She huffs crossing her arms over her chest.

"Because you insist of getting into situations like these, so you can see me." He says while buckling up and winking at her through the rear view mirror.
"I'll have you know, I've tried my best to avoid you, but obviously it doesn't work." She snaps.

"I think you are just denying the fact that you just can't seem to stay away from more than 24 hours." He shrugs.
"Maybe it's destiny." He smirks.

"Pshh, please you wouldn't know destiny if it knocked on you door." He rolls his eyes at her. "Why can't I sit up front?"

"You need to keep your leg elevated." He says bluntly.

"I can put it on the dash board." She shrugs.

"You are no getting blood on my dashboard, lynx" he said sternly. "Your staying back there until we get to the hospital" a hint of irritation in his voice.

"Bipolar much?" She snaps at him.
"Lynx just stop" his grip on the steering wheel tightens, showing the basins popping out of his arm.

"No, one minute you are so nice, charming and make me feel special for once in a long time then you get pissed at me for a simple question, I just don't get it!" She's breathing heavy from how fast she was speaking and is now just staring at him. Matt doesn't say anything back he has a emotional less expression on his face and his eyes are focused on the road. A sudden pang of guilt feels the pit of her stomach from her sudden outburst. She has acted that way since her old fights with Alec before he died.

"I'm s-sorry" she stutters. "I didn't mean to-" she's cut off when the engine shut off and he opens the door. She gets confused until she takes in her surroundings. They arrived in the hospital parking lot. Matt opens up the door and picks lynx out of the back seat

After a couple of stitches lynx is free to leave the hospital and return home.

"Matt.." No response.
"Come on Matt, talk to me." Still no response from him.
"Matt you can't really blame me, you totally freaked out on me and it wasn't f-" suddenly she's pushed up against matts truck with Matt in front off her, hand above here head, supporting him.

"Don't you get lynx? I don't understand why I'm acting like this, you do this to me. I'm not a nice guy, I'm the bad boy that your mom warns you to stay away from, but you, you make me want to be good." Their faces are just inches apart and their breathes are mingling, neither one wanting to break eye contact.

Flashback
"Alec stop!" Lynx screams.
They were fighting about Alec's sudden outburst they had earlier.

"Come on lynx, I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you like that." Lynx whips around to look at him.

"All I want was to stay a little longer and you snap at me!" She yells at him. " you completely embarrassed me in front of everyone.!" She turns around and reaches for the door handle of her car. Alec grabs her hand and pushes her up against the car.

"Don't you get it? I don't want you around those kind of people because.. Because I love you..." And then Alec broke the space in between them two and captured her lips.

End of flash back.

They were still looking at each other just when Matt was leaning in. Lynx broke eye contact and turned her face to the ground.

"I think you should take me home" she told him. He mumbled okay.

And for once lynx sat in the passenger seat.
