"I know..." I said quietly, remembering a blurry memory of long ago.

-Flashback-
"Mommy?"
Nothing.
"Mommy, wake up!"
Not even a movement.
Why isnt mommy waking up?
"Mommy!"
My small hands layed on her stomach, shaking her lightly. It always woke her up. Why is today different?
When I lifted my hands, they were covered in what looked like ketchup. Mommy was always a messy eater.
Maybe Mr. John from next door could help me wake mommy up! He always said if mommy and I needed help to come get him!
"Mr John?" I said, knocking on his door.
"Hello Ella!"
"Mommy needs help!" I exclaimed.
I took Mr. John to see mommy. Whwn he saw her he seemed worried. I wonder why?
"Go to your room Ella. Now. Do not come out till I tell you to okay?"
Not long later I saw flashing lights. Mommy was taken away.

Mommy never woke up.
