Chapter 5

Tony's POV

Loki started to look pale. I decided to tell Eryn not to worry about Loki so much. To me it seem like they care about each other so much. I was able to feel like that a long time ago. When Skylar and I actually had feelings toward each other, but of course me being the imbecile I am ruined it all. I tried to get over Skylar, but I was never able to. Then when I found out that she was dating my best friend Steve Rogers. I was jealous at first, then I figure out that there was no need for me to be envious about the relationship Iparis and Rogers have. Later on I got news that Hawk-eye broke up with Widow to be in a relationship with Aniase, also Banner actually got a girlfriend. She is one of the Novak twins named Aza. I was surprised Clint nor Banner got the gist if their relationships worked out with the twins they will be brother-in-laws.
"Hey Tony, we're heading out if you wanted to join us." Skylar said.
"Na, I'll stay here just make sure Loki or Eryn don't wake up when I'm gone. Anyway you guys go I'll stay here and make sure nothing terrible happens." I told her.
"Okay Tony. See you in like three hours." she said while clinging to Steve's arm. I swear that she does it on purpose just to piss me off. That was in the past. After a while I noticed three people were still here.
I saw the whole team leave besides Michelle, Castiel, and Gabriel. I was wondering why those three didn't leave with the rest of the team. They were always staying behind whenever the rest actually decided to go somewhere. I was always intrigued on why and how Gabriel and Castiel were accepted into the program. That is all behind us now, the easier life style we all once had in our past. I was hoping Eryn and Loki get better, but until then I saw a file labeled 'The Phoenix and Ice Flame'. I opened the file and saw many fighting tactics on my sister and some of Loki's, but most of all I saw many undercover heist, missions, and infatuations caused and completed without any hesitation by Loki and Eryn. I now had the urge to ask Loki what life my sister truly was living when she wasn't with us. All I wanted to know is my little sister was an undercover spy by the code name 'The Phoenix'. I walked into Loki's room to see if he was feeling any better. Coincidental he was and was mumbling something about 'The Phoenix and Ice Flame'. He kept mumbling this, but the strange thing was he was wide awake. So I walked in to ask Loki if he knew anything about 'The Phoenix and Ice Flame'. All I was hoping that if he did know anything, I hope I'm able to get some answers from him.
"Hello Anthony. What brings you here?" he asked with a very mischievous smile. It caused me to shiver before I continued to walk up to him.
"Hey Loki. I'm glad you're awake 'cause I have some questions to ask you about 'The Phoenix and Ice Flame'." I said a little nervous.
"Oh, so you're wondering about the secretive life style your sister and I lived before making any social contact with you." he said calmly.
"Yeah. I was hoping to get some answers before Eryn wakes up." I tell him.
"Well I wondering when this question would pop in your mind. Now that is has come up all I want to say is that your sister and you are far more powerful and threatening than you might believe. Now what are the specific questions you would like to ask me, Anthony?" Loki asked me. "Also what made you wonder all of a sudden with these questions?" he added on to his previous question.
"The thing is I found a file labeled 'The Phoenix and Ice Flame', it said that they were an inseparable team. The thing that bothers me most is that is my little sister still the same person she was when she was The Phoenix?" I told him while trying to avoid his gaze.
"Well the truth is Anthony, your sister doesn't have the intentions to kill for money or pleasure. The facts are your sister won't even take the chance to kill a soul even if it killed her. What I'm trying to say is that your sister is officially terrified to kill and even more than just plain fear to hold a weapon." I heard Loki tell me.
"Wait she can't even stand to hold a weapon anymore, but in the files it showed her with inexplicable powers and so much anger plus furry in her eyes." I told him while taking the time to look him in his eyes. When I finally looked him in the eyes. His eyes were glowing a deep emerald green coloration. It started to make me wonder how this God of Mischief has been showing emotion toward my baby sis. Maybe Loki and Eryn can become the unstoppable team they once were and that would tell the world that the Avengers weren't the only superhero team on planet Earth. There was a hint of of chaos and mischief in Loki's eyes and that actually reminded me of the time I saw the same hint of chaos and mischief in Eryn's eyes. It was like the two of them were always ment to meet each other.
"Anthony are you okay. You seem to be in your own little mystery world?" Loki asked. The thing was that caught me off guard was the way he had asked me.
"Yeah I'm fine. Thank you for asking." I replied.
About three hours later Jarvis had just told me that Eryn had finally woken up from her two week slumber. I was so happy that she had finally woken up and I was finally able to spend some sibling bonding time with her. Eryn is the only person I truly trust on the team. All it seems to me is that I've been so naive to believe others than instead of trusting my family. I still am trying to figure out who killed my parents, intended to kill my sister and nearly eliminate the entire team of Avengers. I just had so many things on my mind that I didn't even here the team return from wherever they were. Then I saw Castiel, Gabriel, Sam, and Dean exit the building onto the balcony. The Winchester brothers always had me worried about their whereabouts.
"Hey Tony we're back from the movies." I hear Steve call out to me.
"Oh hey Steve. You seem like you've seen a ghost or something?" I tell Steve.
"Well it does feel like I did see a ghost about two hours ago." he responded.
"Sky and the gang took you guys to the newest horror film?" I asked.
"Yeah. Anyway are Loki and Eryn awake yet 'cause we saw someone who looks just like Eryn at the movies?" Steve asked with a bit of concern in his voice. To me it seemed like he was more worried about Eryn instead of Skylar.
"Hey, Tony you there." I heard Steve call my name.
"Sorry for zoning out at the moment I was just thinking about something." I said while trying to keep from zoning out again.
"Okay, just making sure you didn't fall asleep for a moment and all." Steve while sort of making his way toward Eryn's room. "Anyway I was wondering if we're able to ask Eryn and Loki a few questions about this whole ordeal."
"I think so, but Eryn just woke up and will only speak to Loki. It's best if you let her calm down for a bit."
"All right man. I'll be in the living room if you need me." after he said that I was a bit suspicious about Steve because normally he never acts like this. Maybe I'm just imagining things. I just may seem off the edge or something 'cause that might be making me imagine stuff.
"Tony I'm bored and where is Loki I need to tell him and you something very important!!!" I heard Eryn yell.
"Loki is in the room next to your's and I'll be there in a moment!!" I yell back to her. I walk into her room and notice that she isn't alone. Eryn seems like she knows the other person in the room with her. This causes me to slightly panic until I see Eryn single handedly dominate that person. I was very shocked when I saw that all of the self-defence tactics come into play right before his eyes.
"Hey Eryn, are you okay?" I ask after seeing her fall once she was finish defeating the stranger.
"I feel a bit dizzy that's all and I was going to tell you some thing important, but first I need you to bring Loki in here as well." she said once she had filly regained her balance.
