"Is! Breakfast!" Is's father calledfrom the other sideof the house.

She sat up, unexpectedly hitting her head on the wall, "What the hell..."She questioned, her handplaced on the side of her head were the empact was mostly targeted.

The girl sat upfully, holding her side of her head withher hand, closing her eyes for a few seconds, as if trying to get as much sleep as she could. She then stood up, rubbing her eyes.

God how she despised mornings. She enjoyed school but never breakfast. Her medicinemade her sick to her stomach everytimeshe ate, even after she stopped taking it.

She lazily steppeddownstairs, a frown taking over her face as she saw her mother setting on the couch. Her father was a foolwith her mother andobviously blind when it came to love.

"Hey mom..." She slurred, trying to wake herself up, not ready to dodge to emotionalattacks of her mother's insults this early in the morning.

"Hello Angelis..." Shetrailed, looking at her daughter, her big brown eye now only slits of white, brown andblack; as if trying to find something she couldcall her out on.

"Reachel... Please..."Her daughter retorted. The truth was, she had not even a ounce of respect for her mother. How could she? One moment she was the best mother you could dream up andthe next she was snorting Coke through a straw.

Sam, her father, frowned, "Please, Is, she is your mother and you need to respect that."He saidsternly, placing a gentle hand over Reachel's.

Is pinchedthe bridge of her nose. She was usually the best at covering her anger, or, any emotion at all, that was; but not around her mother. Her mother had this knowledge of how to make her daughter's emotions create a hurricane inside her head, leaving her daughter helpless andgrieving.

"Sorry... Mom."She stated plainly, horrifiedthese words even left her mouth.

Yes, this sounded like the usual mother and daughter bickering and arguing but the truth was... It was far from it.

Is was never one for conversation, not even with friends. She was quiet and kept to herself. It wasn't the fact she was shy it was mainly the fact she couldn't stand people. In her eyes, people were greedy, selfish andignorant; never understanding their blessings, and half the time, not even after it was gone.

These were some thoughts for a young thirteen year old, but not for her. Her mind was a labyrinth only she could get through. She was quite intelligent; all of her classes enrichment. Her grades often dropped due to her lack of willing to deal with the stupidity of her classmates, but no lower thea B.

Is bit the inside of her cheek, holding back harsh words she knew wouldn't even phase her mother.

She inhaled deeply, "What's for breakfast?" The small girl asked, quickly trying to remove the uncomfortable sheet of silence set in the room.

Her father simply nodded in return, pointing to the dinning room table, "Seefor yourself."

Is nodded, setting by herself at the table. She hoped her little sister wouldwake up soon to entertain her with some of her nonsenseical humor. She slowly rockedher feet back and fourthabove the floor, counting the fact they bearly hovered above the floor when she was seated.

She was bearly even 4'11. Her doctor allsaidthe only unhealthy thing about her was her weight. Her ribs shown through her skin, every detail of them identifiable.

Right on cue Tomo, her young sister, stepped out of her room, looking tired and frustrated.

"Tomo shouldn't have to wake up this early..." The little girl spoke in her usual, third person speech, "Tomo shouldget to sleep in, like real bounty hunters."

"Oh?" Is rose a questioning brow, "Last week you said you were going to be a judge."

"Yeah... Well... Judge Judy already stole my place as the female judgethat yells at everyone in court."She scoffed, glaring at the floor covered in grey carpeting.

Is shook her head, this was her way of giving a smalllaugh, "Is that so?"

Tomo glared and nodded quickly, her emerald green eyes now only slits of color. ~~~~

"Hey Is! Wanna come over later?" The red-headed girl yelled across the few spaces of sidewalk that separated them.

Is turned, seeing her, the girl's bright oceanic blue eyes glimered, her freckles making them shine brighter in a perspective. She stood still, letting thecrowd of pre-teens and teenagers swarm their way around her, waiting for her friend to findher way through.

Seeing the too girls together was a bit taboo. Josie, her friend was very tall and always dressed bubbly and freely. Is, on the other hand, was quite short, her head always hanging low. She enjoyed dressing in layers, even when the weather was warm.

Josie hugged her friend.
