Chapter eight: Two Hearts as one?

A massive gust of wind came towards the three women. Danet and Sango clung to their towels as they were up getting ready to dress as Kagome huddled down in the water from the brunt of the wind. Sounds of fighting could be heard not too far off. All three women dressed as quickly as they could, grabbed their bags and hauled ass towards the noise. When they arrived two were not surprised while the third stood their shocked.

Kagome's POV:
*Sighing she put her bow away.* Not this again.

Sango nodded as they stood their and watched while Danet, found herself staring at the other man who looked admittedly similar to Inuyasha. He had long silver hair, a purple crescent moon on his forehead, and a fur around his shoulders. To say he was stunning was putting it mildly.

Danet's POV:
Who is that fighting with Inuyasha? Wait...he wasn't fighting. He was just dodging and not even returning the blows. But why?
Not realizing she was staring so intently, she flinched slightly when the man's yellow eyes met hers suddenly. Hazel eyes widening slightly she looked away towards where her cousin was standing.

Feeling a rush of wind she looked up curiously, to be met with the same yellow eyes of the man. Feeling her cheeks flush she couldn't help but think how handsome he was up close. And how tall he was compared to herself.
"H...hello." she said a bit hesitantly.

Sesshomaru's POV:
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. He thought as he looked down into his mates eyes. They were a variety of colors he has never seen a human posses before. Unique as his mate should be. Hearing her speak he felt the corner of his mouth lift ever so slightly before he had to move his focus back to Inuyasha who, at that moment, decided to come at him.
Turning as fast as possible he had his own sword pulled out as he easily blocked inuyasha's strick. Standing in front of his mate protectively to ensure she came to no harm.
"Little brother, it is dishonorable to attack one who is preoccupied in an important situation." His deep voice gave Danet shivers, which he sensed making his nostrils flare and his pupils dilate.
"Oh yes? And what important situation would that have to be to involve Danet?!" Inuyasha demanded.
Sesshomaru relaxed putting his sword away as he found himself smirking.
"Connecting with my destined mate."
Silence ensued as everyone froze, and Danet's eyes were wide and her cheeks a dark Rosey hue.
All the men, excluding Sesshomaru, stood there in utter shock that this full blooded demon saying he chose a human for a mate.

Hello!! So so sorry it has taken me so long! So much has happened in this short amount of time that I just got blown for a ride. Lol. Hope this is good! Next chapter will be more calm not too much action, probably along the lines of mostly talk and etc.
