Chapter Nine: And you are??

Staring at the strange yet beautiful man across from her, she couldn't help the odd feeling inside her chest. If what he had said is true, then maybe...
Shaking her head she tried to dispute the very idea.
"This makes no sense. I get that demons, even half demons, have a mate they choose and all but, I do not understand how a full blood demon, such as yourself, would choose a full blood human, such as myself." She said as she kept her arms crossed infeont of herself as a sort of self defense.

"It's simple really. I do not choose you. You were already chosen for me." Sesshomaru explained. "I have no concious choice in this matter. You are made for me as I am made for you. Simple." He said monotonly.

Danet just stared at him before she shook her head again. "Nope. Not gonna happen. I don't know you, you don't know me. I am not just going to be some random dudes mate."

The rest of the group sat around the fire awkwardly.

Sesshomaru sat there studying his mate. He could see she was unsure and anxious. Humming to himself he nodded ever so slightly.

"Then we will get to know one another. I will join the group, for a while, so you may get to know me, I you, and you can get used to being around me more often." He stated, not even asking if the others could agree to this or not. He was going to do it wether they liked it or not. He needed his mate to accept him, and he would do everything he could to accomplish this goal.

Danet sighed covering her eyes with her hand. There was one thing demon men and human men had in common. Large amounts of stubbornness.

I know this one is short but I had to get it out of the way!! The next chapter will be skipping ahead(a time skip!) To get past some of the boring things like them walking, etc.
