We are the most powerful, the most terrifying, and the most fearsome. People see us as beasts in a form of a human. A beast that hungers for human flesh and won't cease to ravage for survival. They see us as aliens in their country, stealing and consuming their food and ravaging their lands. The reason for all these savage acts? We are just repaying their unpleasant behavior. Mercilessly killing our kind for no valid reason. Should we submit to their doings? Or shall we eliminate them from the face of the earth?

We were ranked from the moment we were born. There's always a leader among us. We usually raise geniuses to become our leaders. It's rare for someone who works hard to become our leader. You have to prove yourself in order to lead the entire pack. If there's an existing leader, you can battle him for the rank of Alpha. We have no rival packs. We are a pack with 37 wolves strong. That number is sufficient to crush an entire country into mere fragments.

There are ways to determine our rank. First of all, our eyes. The color of our eyes and hair doesn't matter if we are in our human-like forms. But if we transform into our wolf selves, our eyes do change. An alpha always has red, blood-colored eyes, a beta has golden eyes, while an omega has green eyes. This next way is not always accurate, but this is how humans determine our strength. They look at our fur color. Our fur color goes with our eye color, so there is no such existence with a fur color that doesn't match the eye color of the given rank. If our fur has a shade of gray, they almost immediately think that this werewolf is an easy prey. They are looking down on our omegas. Our omegas can be fearsome if ordered to, but generally, they are the most laid-back and gentle wolves in the pack. If our fur has a shade of brown, they determine that this werewolf is a beta. Lastly, a fur that is the color of darkness. Black, the color that is intimidating to the human eye. Strangely some find it attractive though. A werewolf with a coat of black fur is immediately being avoided and feared. Why? They are the alphas, the most powerful and intimidating creatures in the pack.

Our wolf forms can be controlled, unless being influenced by the full moon. Even Alphas would submit to the light of the moon. Since there's only one full moon per month, we are forced to transform once a month. But there are always rules in our transformation. If you were not exposed to the rays of the moon before midnight, you can still be human-like until midnight. By midnight, you are forced to transform painfully, whether you like it or not. If you were exposed to the moon's rays anytime before midnight when the sun has set, you are forced to transform, but this shortens all your worrying of transforming since you would be tranformed without pain. You would be transformed back into your human-like form when the sun rises.

There are some pitiful wolves who fall in love with lowly humans. Defying the customs of the pack, they are executed along with their so-called lover. We, werewolves, can never have intimate terms with those deceitful humans! Especially, because we possess a hazardous flaw, we could never be at peace with these people.

We have a weakness that only the alphas know. The rest of the pack thinks of our physical weakness to silver. We can be killed by iron, steel or any kind of metal, but if not killed quickly, our wounds heal and regenerate, closing our wound. Silver deals far more damage than any mineral. It slows down our regeneration and can easily pierce our flesh. This is not the weakness what the alphas are concerned about. The humans sees us as beasts full of hatred. However, they are wrong. We are full of love, and this forms our weakness of our emotional selves. Losing a pack member drives us insane and wild causing our brain to secrete a special chemical which enhances our physical strength that can be strengthened even further if the moon is by our side. Being emotionally unstable, we could kill our own kind. This is our treacherous weakness.

We are the werewolves, the beasts of the night.
