Our Treacherous Weakness

We are the inhabitants of the Earth. We were at peace with every living creature on land, sea and sky, until this menacing creature was discovered. A few of us survived the wrath of this terrifying beast. They may look like us, but their actions are inhuman. They have killed over a thousand of us! They are the unspeakably horrifying Werewolves. This rampage must be stopped. If not, the human race will be wiped out one by one from the land.

We wanted to make peace with these creatures but they don't seem to agree with us. Once they see us, they either run away or mercilessly kill us. Fortunately, we found a way on how to kill a werewolf through countless research and trials. We captured a werewolf when its guard was lowered and brought him to the laboratory. We do not need a lot of wolves for trials. We could learn so many things through just one wolf. We tested every mineral that are usually used for weapons, like steel. From what we know, there was one precious mineral that monsters are weak to. We tried using platinum, gold and other precious minerals that are sturdy enough for swords. When we tried using a silver weapon, even with just the glimpse of it, the werewolf started squirming and struggling. The strange behavior baffled us, so we used the silver weapon and started cutting off his arm. His arm didn't regenerate immediately. We pierced the weapon into his stomach, causing the wolf to yelp in pain. Seeing that the weapon pierced through easily, we aimed for the heart and killed the wolf. Through this study, we started mining for silver for our weapons against the werewolves and used it against them.

Through the success of our reasearch, we have killed countless of wolves. For what we know, they are now 27 wolves, but maybe there are others that are lurking in the shadows. We informed neighboring countries about these creatures, hoping that they would help us annihilate them. Some declined in fear, while others joined forces with us. But even with our large number of people, we should be careful. One werewolf alone can destroy over 10 households.

Similar to the wolf, a werewolf also has a rank in its pack. Through many battles, we made a way on how to determine a werewolf's rank through its fur color. If its fur color is gray, it is definitely an omega. Brown fur makes it a beta. But, we should avoid a werewolf with a color of darkness. A fur color of black makes it an alpha. An alpha werewolf is toughest one to destroy. Its skin is harder to pierce. Its more vicious than its other pack members. All wolves obey him without question.

Those beasts should watch out for us humans. Our determination shall give us victory!
