"I completely forgot, there's a party tonight, Shawn is throwing it, the boy I went to the diner with. The girls are going and they invited me but I told them that I have guests coming for dinner" Camila said, standing in the living room. "Okay dear" her mother replied, her eyes never moving away from the television screen. "Who exactly is coming for dinner?" Camila asked. "Just some people." "How many people?" Camila asked. "Only 2" Sinu answered, her eyes still glued to the screen.

Camila closed the door of her bedroom. She sat down at her desk, picking up an envelope. She ripped it open, taking out a piece of folded paper.

Dear anonymous writing partner, I think it's awesome that you play the guitar and piano. I don't play any musical instruments but I would love to learn. Maybe after this assignment you could give me a few lessons. I also love movies but I'm not much of a dancer, I love comedies and horror films especially sinister one and two, they're my favourite. What's your favourite movie? I also heard about Shawn's party, I'm not too sure if I'm going to go, I don't hang around with that lot or play sports, I'm just not that type of guy. Oh yeah I didn't mention I'm a guy. I don't know what you are so it would be great if you could tell me in the next letter. Anyways, I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Camila placed the letter back down on the desk. She lifted a clear piece of paper from the corner of her desk and picked up a black pen and began writing.

Dear anonymous writing partner, For your information I am a female. I would love to give you a few lessons after this assignment is finished, guitar or piano? I also love comedies but I'm terrified of horror films, they're just too scary. I've never seen sinister one or two, I've watched the trailers though, it looks terrifying! I'm not going to Shawn's party, my friends are going but I have guests coming over for dinner tonight so I can't go. I'm really worried though, I'm not to fond of dinner parties, especially if I don't know who the guests are. Anyways I have to get ready and help my mother, I look foward to your next letter.

Camila placed the pen down neatly on her desk. She stood up from the chair, opening the large closet door. There were a million gorgeous dresses in there, ranging from every colour. She placed her hand on her chin, deciding which dress to wear. She decided to settle on a cute black dress with a white collar and a normal pair of black and white converse trainers. Camila looked at herself in the mirror. "Something's missing." She picked up a cute black bow and placed it in her hair. "That's better."

"Do you need any help?" Camila asked her mother who was rushing around trying to place things. "Can you put this on the table?" Sinu handed Camila a bottle of red wine. "Can you tell me who's coming for dinner yet?" Camila asked, placing the glass bottle on the table. Sinu hesitated. "Lauren and Clara..." Camila completely froze. The door bell rang. Sinu rushed to answer the door. Before she opened the door to greet Lauren and Clara she quickly turned around to face Camila. "Be nice" she warned.

"Welcome!" Sinu motioned for the two women to enter her home. Lauren and Clara stepped in. Camila and Lauren immediately locked eyes but Camila quickly looked down at the ground. Lauren wore a tight black dress and black high heals. She looked gorgeous. "Thank you for having us" Lauren said, smiling politely. "If you would like to come through to the dining room, dinner will be ready shortly. Lauren and Clara followed Camila through. They sat down at the table. Camila sat opposite Lauren and Clara sat opposite of the empty chair set out for Sinu. "So Camila, It's been a while, how have you been?" Clara asked. "Yeah we've not spoken for a good few years, I've been well" Camila answered. "I heard about what happened at the diner" Clara said. "I'd like to apologise for that, it was wrong of me and I didn't realise the consequences of my actions so I'm sorry that I embarrased you infront of Shawn and that I ruined your jeans" Lauren followed. "It's okay, thanks for apologising and I am sorry for everything I have ever said to you in the past." "Me too,"

"This is delicious Sinu, truly wonderful" Clara said. "Thank you very much, it's an old recipe, runs in the family." "So Lauren, I thought you'd be at Shawn's party" Camila said from across the table. "I'm actually heading there later on tonight." "Why don't you invite her along" Clara suggested. "No!" Camila shouted. "Our friendship groups are rivals, it's a terrible idea" Camila said. "Our friends don't even know about our past" Lauren said. "Why can't yous tell them?" Sinu asked. "They would never understand, plus it's complicated, we just don't want to go into it" Camila replied. "I'm sure they would understand if yous just talk to them" Clara said, picking up her glass of wine. "Impossible" Lauren replied. "My friends despise Lauren and her friends." "And my friends hate Camila and her friends. I mean they're cheerleaders and we're... Troubled." "I'm sure your groups will get along eventually if you just give it time" Sinu said, sipping her glass. "You don't know my friends." Lauren placed down her cutlery on the table. "I'll help with the dishes" Lauren suggested, standing up from the table. "I'll help too" Camila also stood from the table.

"You wash, I'll dry" Lauren picked up the dish towel. "How come you hated me so much?" Camila asked, washing a plate in the sink. "You broke my heart remember" Lauren said, wiping a fork. "I thought you were over that."

"How could I be over that?" Lauren said. "It was 3 years ago." Camila slowly washed a large plate. "Are you over me?" Lauren asked placing down the dish towel on the counter and turning to face Camila who was still washing the same plate. Camila sighed. "No."

"But you've changed. I miss the old you" said Camila as she handed the wet plate to Lauren to dry. "What about you? You've changed the most." Camila sighed yet again.

Freshman year Lauren and Camila, secret "lesbian" couple of 2 years, break up. Camila used to be a complete dork and now she's the head cheerleader and popular girl. Lauren Jauregui, alternative dresser, pierces her nose and lip and develops a new attitude.

A tear fell down Lauren's cheek. Camila places away the last plate into the cupboard. "Come here." Camila escorted Lauren upstairs and into her bed room.

"Why did we break up?" Camila asked, staring at Lauren who stood with her back against the wall. "You became a cheerleader and miss popular girl and I was left behind. You had no time for me" Lauren said. "We were a secret, only our parents knew. I couldn't let my reputation die" Camila replied. "I was madly in love with you and you left me!" A tear ran down Lauren's cheek. "We're out now. We're the only bisexuals in school. Why can't we tell people?" Lauren asked, looking straight into Camila's eyes.

"I like your hair" Camila said. "Thanks" Lauren sniffled. "You didn't answer my question." "Because I'm still madly in love with you!" Camila shouted. "You were the best thing that ever happened to me. Hearing you say all those things about me. Pushing cola on to my lap to humiliate me, really hurt me Lauren."

Lauren placed the palm of her hand on Camila's cheek, lifting up her head. "I'm so sorry. You know I love you." "No." Camila pushed Lauren away. "Not this time."

"What would we do? Just out of nowhere tell our friends who absolutely hate each others guts that we were in love... in secret?" Camila said. "Were?" Lauren asked with a sad look on her face.

"You hurt me Lauren. Unless you and your friends stop tormenting mine it'll stay that way." "You don't know my friends, they're troubled. They're the type of girls that hate cheerleaders with all of their heart" Lauren replied.

Camila sat down on the bed, looking away from Lauren, who still stood with her back against the wall.

Camila began to develop those bad kind of butterflies. You know, the kind that happen when you know something is wrong.

A few minutes passed without either girls saying a word. A text alert rung from Lauren's phone. She lifted it up to read the message.

"Are you going to Shawn's party?" Lauren asked. "My friend's are going but I'm not exactly sure if i want to show my face after the diner incident" Camila replied looking up at Lauren with her sad, puppy dog eyes.

"It only started an hour ago, you wanna go?" Lauren looked over at Camila. "I'll give you a ride." "We can't be seen together" Camila replied. "I have tinted windows. We can park down the street and you can leave five minutes before me" Lauren suggested.
