6 years later

"Mommy! Hyerin is trying to eat the cake!" Seorin shouts at her mother after seeing her sister attempting to reach the cake that was on the table.

Chaeyoung sighs and walks to the kitchen to find Hyerin still reaching for the cake. She  softly chuckles a little at the little girl cutely trying to grab the cake and carries Hyerin away from the table. Hyerin looks at her mother and pouts childishly, then turning her head away, still staring at the cake with her big ebony eyes.

"Hyerin-ah, we need to wait for eomma Jisoo and the guests to come first. " Chaeyoung says to the arrogant girl with a smile. Hyerin nods her head with a small pout on her lips. Chaeyoung pats the arrogant girl on the head, then going back on decorating the house.

Just then, they heard a knock on the door. Chaeyoung hurriedly open the door, to be shockingly greeted by Jennie and Lisa, her two best friends. The three of them hugged each other really tightly as it has been a long time since they saw each other.

"Merry Christmas auntie Jennie and auntie Lisa!" The two twins happily greeted the both ladies with the cutest smiles on their faces. The both of them giggled and greeted them back.  "Seorin, Hyerin, we bought gifts for you! But open it after we finish eating okay?" Jennie says to the twins, who's eyes sparkled with anticipation and excitement.

Jennie and Lisa following with Hyerin and Seorin helped Chaeyoung finish the decorating the house and it now looks amazing. Jisoo already arrived from work. She hurriedly refreshed herself and then came down to join the others for dinner.

The feast was filled with laughter, happiness and not to mention Christmas Carols joyfully singing away by the six of them. After eating for what seemed like forever as they were happily chit chatting, Jisoo and Chae set aside their daughters to open their gifts and play with toys while the adults sat together to chit-chat for a bit.

"So, it's been quite a while since we talked together. " Lisa starts off first. 

 The four of them were talking until Jennie brought up a new topic.

You know, I really miss the moments when we were in collage. We used to have sleepovers, watching movies and.. remember the zombie apocalypse? -Jennie

Oh my, of course we do. We met a soldier, a handsome guy and Namjoon out of nowhere. Wonder where they now.. -Chaeyoung


 I'm glad everything is over now. I really didn't expect my father to be cruel though. Well, let bygones by bygones. -Lisa


All of them were talking until they realized Jisoo was nothing but a silent mouse throughout the conversation. Her worried wife patted her lap softly to get Jisoo's attention. Jisoo immediately came back to reality and maintained eye contact with her lovely wife, who's eyes were filed with concern.

It was 11 p.m is Australia, Jennie and Lisa went back to their hotel, Jisoo and Chae tucked their two daughters to bed after a tiring day. The two were in their room getting ready for bed. 

Jisoo was tying her hair into a ponytail in front of the mirror. Her wife comes out from the bathroom wearing her night clothes with her blonde hair almost reaching her shoulders,still looking like goddess. As she was getting their bed ready, her eyes darted on Jisoo. The latter was staring at the mirror with hand still holding her ponytail and hairband.


Chaeyoung approaches her wife, then hugs her from behind. Jisoo snaps out of her thoughts as she felt the soft hands of her wife wrapped around her waist. Their eyes locked on each other as Chae rests her chin on Jisoo's shoulder and stares at her wife's face with a small smile perking on her lips.


"Why did you look distracted just now? Something wrong at work?"

Jisoo looks down on the floor for a second before responding,

"We'll go somewhere tomorrow, and then you'll know why."

With that being said by Jisoo, she left Chaeyoung perplexed. Chaeyoung questioned nothing, and eventually both went to bed while cuddling each other under the moon.
