Sarafina's POV
The day after the first Hogsmeade visit, I went to Diagon Alley. With special permission from Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore. It's ten o'clock and I'm finally getting my phoenix tattoo. As well as confirm my theory about a contraceptive potion and get the ingredients. If it is a real potion.
I go to the magical tattoo parlor first, which is just next to Knockturn Alley. "Welcome, I am Joseph. How may I help you today?" the tattoo artist asks me.
"My name is Sarafina and I'd like a phoenix tattoo on my left forearm" I tell him.
"Of course, did you already have a design in mind?" he asks me.
"Yes and I'd like the grey to move like smoke or fire" I say handing him my drawing.
"This you first tattoo?" he asks me and I nod my head. "Usually, I'd charge twenty galleons for a moving tattoo this size. But as it is your first, I'll give the non-moving price of fifteen galleons" he tells me. I smile in gratitude and glad I accepted Draco's help to pay for it.
"Thank you" I say. "I'll pay you, when you finish" I tell him. He nods his head and has me sit in the recliner chair. He rolled up my sleeve and started to tattoo the muggle way. It hurt, but I made no sound. "How come you're not doing it magically?" I ask him curious.
"It'd hurt a lot more if I did" he states. "Besides, my father was a muggle tattoo artist and taught me everything I know. Once I finish the design, it's just a simple spell to make the tattoo move. Similar to the one used to make photos or portraits move" he explains.
"One of my best friends it muggle born" I tell him.
"Interesting, do they enjoy our world?" he asks me.
"Yes, very much" I say.
(Couple hours later)
The artist finally finished the tattoo, except for the magic part. "What do you think?" he asks me.
"It's beautiful" I say smiling. He waves his wand and the grey starts to move like smoke. Then the pain disappears.
"Keep it clean for a week, but don't get it wet for the rest of the day" he tells me.
"Of course, thank you" I say handing him the money. I then leave and go to flourish and blots. I ask Madame Villanelle about contraceptive spells and potions. She gets me the right book and I pay for it. I then go to a cafe for something to eat while I read the book. I find the potion I am looking for and smile. It's a morning after potion, I take the day after making love with Draco and I won't become pregnant.
I look at the list of ingredients and make a copy. I finish my food and drink. Then go to the apothecary and get the ingredients required. Once done I return to the Leaky Cauldron where Tonks greets me and we catch the knight bus back to Hogwarts. Hagrid meet us and Tonks left.
"So how did it go?" he asks me.
"Good, but more shops have closed in Diagon Alley" I tell him.
"Figures, you go inside now" he tells me when we reach the front doors. I hug him and go inside. I go place my purchases in my dorm room. Then go search for Draco and find him again in the Room of Requirement.
"Who are the girls outside?" I ask him.
"Crabbe and Goyle under the effects of a polyjuice potion" he states. "Where were you today?" he asks me.
"Diagon Alley, I finally got my tattoo" I tell him.
"May I?" he asks and I hold my left arm out to him. He rolls up my sleeve and smiles at my tat. "It's prettier then mine" he states.
"I designed it myself, but the tattoo artist did a good job" I state. I roll it down and kiss him. "I missed you, did you eat lunch?" I ask him.
"Yes" he says smiling.
"Good lets do your homework, then I have some good news" I tell him.
"Can't you tell me now?" he asks me.
"Nope" I say shaking my head.
"Sure I can't persuade you?" he asks kissing my neck as he holds my waist.
"Draco, we have to study" I remind him and groans. But we study anyway and he finishes his homework. "Now, you know how we want to go further. But don't want to risk me getting pregnant?" I ask him.
"Yes" he says nodding his head.
"I found a potion, that I can take the morning after our love making and it'll prevent pregnancy. But it'll take months to brew as I don't have all the ingredients and had to order them. They only get harvested once the snow melts" I tell him.
"Great, I'll count every second and plan the perfect first time for us both" he tells me.
"Great, I'll leave you to your work" I tell him and give him a peck. But as I go to leave he spins me around and kisses me longer. "Just be-careful" I remind him and he nods his head. I leave and go to my dorm room. I start to read the recipe and think of altercations I can make to it. But I won't know for sure until I start brewing it.
