By morning, the blood is dry and the tears no longer have a trace. I slowly get up and go to the bathroom to see their handy work. I look at the mirror and see that my green eye has a white pupil and is dulled. My mouth is sealed shut with little to no room to move. I sigh through my pale, freckled nose and look at my icy blue eye. My blue eye is as dull as my green eye and has no pupil. It makes sense since most of my humanity is missing.

I stop staring at my pitiful reflection and I clean myself off. I slip into a baggy shirt and a pair of shorts. I then position my black hair to cover my green eye. I then slip on a white mask that covers my mouth and leave to the house with black slip-on shoes.

While walking to school, something catches my eye in the woods. I step off the sidewalk and onto the grass. I walk into the woods and find a bag of candy. Each piece is a different color yet I'm not interested. I set the bag back down and leave.

Once I'm back on the sidewalk, I feel as if I'm being watched. I just ignore the feeling. Some adults are probably watching me with either hatred or remorse as I walk by.

When I get to school, most of the bullies surround me. Several begin to beat me while others just watch with a smile. However, some smiles falter when my mask and hair is removed from my face. They see the new injuries and begin to kid me in the gut. They also spout things like 'worthless, useless, waste of space, and freak', along with other, more harsh words.

When the bell rings, they all scatter and head to class. I, on the other hand, try to get up but fall back down. I lay facing the forest that just lies behind the fence. I stare at the trees while I bleed out.

While staring, I see a black and white figure walking out of the woods. The figure sits at the edge and seems to be looking at me. I blink, after a few minutes of staring, and it's gone. As if it was never there.
