At night Michael started moving and shaking in his sleep. Michael’s Parents tried to wake him up but he wouldn’t wake up it was like he was having a seizure so they called the ambulance immediately. Later at the hospital his parents were waiting for news on how Michael was doing. When the Doctor came out he told them that Michael is in a serious coma, but the Doctor didn't know why. There was no clue as to why he had a reason to be in a coma. Mrs. Manson started crying and Mr. Manson told her not to worry and that Michael is a strong boy and that he will pull together and pull through.
Mrs. Manson went to the Chapel to pray for her son. She was asking God to please let him be fine and wake up, to not take her son away from her! And she said that she wasn’t going to let the thing in the shadows have her son. She set there in the Chapel praying all night and crying. When she returned to the hospital room her Michael started shaking again, she shouted for the nurse, but no one came, she shouted for the Doctor, but no one came. Michael stopped shaking on the bed and suddenly the lights shut off and when they came back on Michael’s eyes were open and he was sitting up and his Mother eyes got big and was shouting his name towards him and he looked straight at her and started saying, "I'M COMING FOR YOU ALL, AND I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, AFTER I KILL YOUR BOY!"
Mrs. Manson grabbed his shoulders and was shaking him and screaming, "GET OUT OF MY BOY YOU MONSTER!" The Doctor and nurses rushed in and pulled her off of Michael and Michael fell back down and his eyes were still closed it was like nothing happened. The Doctor told her that she should go home and get rest and to not worry because her husband was going to stay there with Michael. She went home and went to bed. The next morning she woke up and felt something hurting on her arm, she looked down at it and saw teeth marks on her wrist.
She screamed and yelled but no one was there to hear her. She picked up the phone and tried to call her husband, but the line was dead. Mrs. Manson went over to the light and flipped it up, but it didn’t turn on. She looked across the dark room and saw a man’s shadow. He came toward her at a fast speed and she screamed and he pushed her against the wall. He strapped her arms down and whispered in her ear and said, "You all are going to die", and instantly she fainted.
