Five hours later she woke up and ran to her car. She drove to the library and got on the internet. Mrs. Manson looked up Jeffery Connor’s name and a whole bunch of newspaper reports popped up. She read that Jeffery Connor was a murderer in the late 1880’s and 90’s. Jeffery Connor had killed over 50 people in the 80’s and at least 50 in the late 1890’s including her Grandfather Leonard Manson in 1896.
Leonard Manson was a police man who has been looking for Jeffery for many years during the late 1800’s. On October 31st, 1896 Leonard found that he has been hiding out in an old barn in the country side of the state Ohio. So Leonard went to the old barn and went inside he saw Jeffery laying there and told him to get up slowly. Jeffery started standing up but when he did he pulled a gun out so Leonard took a shot at Jeffery. Jeffery shot back at the same time killing Leonard Manson and several minutes later Jeffery died.
Mrs. Manson also looked up stuff about evil spirits. She found a thing in an old book that said Jeffery Connor swore he would come back and find the remaining siblings of Leonard Manson and take his revenge on them for what Leonard did. She found how he casted his soul into the house until the last known family members of Leonard Manson moved in. She also found directions on how to stop it. It said that if they find his remains that are in the old barn in the back of the house and burn them that it will stop the evil spirit and send the soul of Jeffery Connor back to hell.
She ran out of the Library and into her car and rushed home to her house. When she got there she ran out to the back barn and was looking for the remains of Jeffery Connor’s body. Suddenly it got dark and a man stood in the darkness and only thing she could see was a shadow he told her she wasn’t going to find his remains and that she should give up cause either way he was going to kill her. On the other side of the barn a white light appeared and a man with white hair and clothes just like any man he said his name was, Leonard Manson. Leonard told her that he hid the remains in the chest up the stairs and that he will hold Jeffery back as long as he can.
She ran up the stairs and took the axe sitting against the wall and broke the lock and she opened the chest and there was the remains wrapped in an old blanket she ran down the stairs and out to the yard. There appeared Jeffery Connor in the shadow he grabbed her and flew Mrs. Manson across the yard. She looked up and saw there standing above her in the shadow was Jeffery Connor’s Spirit. Jeffery was about to kill her when the man Leonard Manson called his name, Jeffery’s spirit turned around and there standing above the remains was Leonard Manson. Leonard smiled and disappeared and the remains of Jeffery started to go bursting into flames.
Jeffery yelled and disappeared into the ground. Mrs. Manson stood up and limped to her car and drove off headed towards the Hospital. When Mrs. Manson arrived she ran inside and into her son Michael’s room and when she came into the room there was her husband sitting there with her son and she ran and hugged Michael and was thinking God. She whispered in Michael’s ear and told him don’t worry it’s all over now that the shadow man will never be seen or heard of again, and then she kissed his forehead. And so it was true the legend of Jeffery Connor was true.
On October 31st, 1955 Jeffery Connor was sent back to hell.
