Chapter 21 : What We Have |EDITED|

Hey guys! Long time to read! I have sincerely missed writing for you guys, as well as interacting with those who comment! So, in light of all this free time we have, I have decided to finish and publish this chapter. Also, as someone who has been struggling with the current situation in our world, I am going to leave my Snapchat here, and anyone who wants to add me, if only just to talk, feel free. I love all of my fans. Also, I have received several comments wanting this story to shift to a Derek Morgan fic. I genuinely want to incorporate every reader's opinion on anything I do, so please leave your opinion. If wanted, I can just make another CM fanfic about Morgan, I already have an idea. Spencer's POV

As a team in the FBI, we're more than used to working under unusual circumstances. However, this is the toughest thus far. With Hotch and Rossi off to help Nicki, we're down three agents, which never bodes well.

Even though it was strange, I knew it was what Nicki needed right now. If Rossi and Hotch really knew Nicki as well as they said they did, well then I guess we could trust them to only do what was in Nicki's best interest.

Now, we were going over case files again on the jet, getting ready to split off to gather our information. Luckily, we had Garcia on a video call from her office, presenting the case to us. She really is such an important part of our team.

"Alright my loves, you're headed to Orange City, Iowa, where the bodies of two couples were found. The two females were found together, while the two males were found together, the two couplings found several miles away from each other."

When Garcia finished her train of thought, we flipped to the images of the victims. None of the victims had anything in common other than the fact that it was two couples. 

"In your files are photos, before and after, of each of the four victims. You will also find the addresses to the precinct, the houses of the families, as well as your hotel. It also has the phone numbers to the precinct," she took a deep breath, "however, loves, you will find past medical reports of each of the four, but you will also find that you won't be able to find any post-mortem lab reports because the medical examiner is currently awaiting your arrival at the morgue." 

I nodded, thinking over all the facts presented to us. Apparently, the couples had both been out on dates with each other when they were taken. We don't know much else other than that, which, is to be expected.

Orange City has one of the lowest crime rates in Iowa, which is saying a lot being as Iowa has a homicide rate of 3.3, one of the lowest rates in the country. That being said, they must not have a good procedure when it comes to dealing with homicides.

"Alright, my loves. I will let you know if I hear from Hotch, Rossi, or Nicki. I'll leave you to split the team, I wish you all luck, and in the wise words of Kim Possible," she smiled, "call me, beep me, if you wanna reach me. PG out."

"Okay, team. This is what we're gonna do," Morgan spoke, "Reid, I'm going to send you to the ME, Emily, I want you to go to the first couple's families, JJ to the other's. I'm going to go set up at the precinct. Once you're all done, we can all regroup at the precinct, and go over What We Have."
