Bolivia

You and your squad are stationed at Caimanes Charlie, you're cleaning your M4A1 assault rifle at the only table in the run down safe house while Midas is sleeping on the ragged couch, Holt is relaxing at the table with you and smoking a cigar and Weaver is outside shooting at birds most likely. You're all idling pretty much waiting for Karen Bowman, your CIA handler to contact you with updated orders.

Finally breaking the peace and quiet Bowman radios in "Ghosts, I'm picking up a distress beacon in Caimanes that I'd like you to go investigate, coordinates are -18.1349 lat, -59.6318 long." Following this as if it's routine you and your squad quickly stand up and gather your gear "We're on it" you reply over the coms.

After about a twenty minute boat ride down river you arrive at the source of the distress beacon, it's a truck that's been run off road with bodies littering the scene. You raise your weapon and proceed with caution "Here's the source of the signal, stay frosty everyone" you say quietly and calmly to your squad as you all approach the truck. Upon closer inspection you notice it was a cartel cash truck... but the cash was still in it. You lower your weapon as the scene is now secure "They didn't even take the money... No, this shit was personal." You deduce while looking inside the back of the truck. "Somebody new is in town and they're going to war with the cartel, better call this in" you continue with your inspection.

"Bowman, we've got a situation... the signal lead us to a crashed vehicle, dead sicarios all over the place" you report while still analyzing the brutal looking scene. Bowman replies with her cheeky attitude "Worried about your job security?" Your tone remains serious "Whoever did this didn't take any of the money, that's not like the rebel's or Unidad... this is something else." Bowman sighs "Oh shit, I think I know what this is about, hold on" she says and then her radio clicks off for a few minutes, in that time your squad looks to you only for you to shrug your shoulders, this certainly wasn't usual.

The radio cuts back in "Ghosts, allow me to introduce an old friend, she's with Rainbow and she might be able to shed some light on the situation. Patching you through now" Bowman informs before the radio once again cuts out.

"Ghost Recon, this is Valkyrie, one of our Rainbow operatives recently went off-grid, and we suspect she's in Bolivia. We don't know what she's there for but... the crash scene sounds like her work. She's a good operator but she can... get carried away. We want to handle this in-family but we need to move fast, clock is ticking on this one. We could sure use your help bringing this one home" Valkyrie says over the radio.

"We're happy to lend a hand, as long as we get the 'go ahead' from Bowman" you reply only for Bowman to chime in "If there's action in Bolivia, I want in on it. Ghosts you're clear to assist Rainbow but remember, you still report to me. Keep Valkyrie in the loop on anything you find" Valkyrie speaks back up "I hope you know we'd do the same for you Ghosts. We already have an operator on the ground in Bolivia, her name is Twitch, link up with her and show her what you've found. Sending her coordinates to you now. Valkyrie out." Valkyrie says, ending the transmission.

"Okay boys, let's go meet this 'Twitch' I've heard of her, she's a tech expert, does a lot of work with drones. She's the real deal so everyone be on your best behaviour" you say with a small chuckle at the end. Midas laughs "I'm always on my best behaviour though" Holt just shakes his head as you all head back to the motor boat, the coordinates that Valkyrie patched through lead you straight to one of your own safe houses, Caimanes Echo.

You and your squad see Twitch set up outside the outpost, working on some kind of drone. You approach her and speak up "You must be Twitch" she turns back to look at you and smiles "And you must be the fabled 'ghosts' I've heard SO much about" she says sarcastically followed by a small giggle. You laugh "We hear you could use a hand" Twitch wastes no time in getting down to it "Caveira, one of our Brazilian operators went AWOL, I've managed to track her here to Bolivia but I lost her trail, I hear you guys might've picked it up?" You laugh slightly "Well we found a truck full of money and a bunch of dead Sicarios..." Twitch pauses for a second "Hmm, so they killed everyone and left the money behind? Sounds like it could be our girl" she says with a hint of excitement. "Take me to the truck, I need to investigate the scene myself" she finishes. "Yep, it's just down river, we'll boat there" you say as you turn around and head back to the motor boat yet again. Twitch nods and follows.

While boating down river Twitch breaks the silence "Being in Bolivia reminds me of Brazil during operation Mystic Tiger..." she says, trying to make conversation presumably. "Caveira, what can you tell us about her?" You say, unintentionally disregarding Twitches opening statement. "I can tell you that you better hope she's in a good mood when we find her..." she says intimidatingly. "Why would she be down here? What connection does she have to Bolivia?" You press for more information. "I wish I knew, she grew up in Brazil, she was arrested for some petty stuff before she joined BOPE" Twitch replies informatively. "Could... it be possible she has some connection to the cartel?" You ask nervously, it's a terrible accusation but one you can't help but wonder.
"Caveira? No way. She's Rainbows best field interrogator. During her time in BOPE she was pretty much at war with the South American drug trade" with that closing statement your curiosity is sated for now and you don't reply, you simply nod and focus on driving the boat trough the swampy river.

You once again approach the location of the crashed money truck and you all unload from the boat, as you're walking toward the scene that looks the exact same as earlier, albeit darker now as the day is coming to its end. Twitch speaks up "I'm going to have a look around, you and your team hang back" she says as she looks directly at you, her green eyes now very noticeable in the slight moonlight. You nod "Go ahead" and with that you and your team ease up and seat yourselves on nearby rocks.

The imagine of Twitches vivid green eyes burned into your mind, and without realizing you were in a daze watching her in the short distance as she was inspecting the truck and bodies. Midas creeps up behind you "Go say something already" he teases, also scaring you out of your daze. You turn to look at him "Oh Christ, shut up" Midas laughs like a child as he pulls away from you.

Twitch laughs slightly after inspecting a body "Yep, knife wound to the neck. Caveira has definitely been here" she easily concludes. "Wait, this truck has a GPS satellite tracking its movements..." she continues. "What can we do with that?" You ask "We can analyze where this truck has been and wherever it came from, problem is, the thing is busted up and needs repair, it's not much to go on but it's all we've got" she says as she pulls the damaged GPS from the truck "Great, how long will that take?" You ask with worry, hoping it won't be too long. Twitch sighs "It'll likely take me a few hours to get it working and another few to retrace it's steps, might as well head back to the safe house for the night and pick this up early in the morning" she says with slight disappointment. You put your hand on her shoulder and comfort her "Don't stress out, we'll find her." Twitch smiles and looks you dead in the eyes "Thanks" her eyes, so vivid, so pretty. You push the thought out of your head and gesture your team to head back to the boat. Once everyone is in you head back to Caimanes Echo.

Once again on the boat ride Twitch tries to clear the air "So, you guys are taking down Santa Blanca right?" "Yep" you reply short and sweet. "Yeah from my brief time in Bolivia I've seen that they have some serious influence here" Twitch replies with a shocked tone. "Yeah it's bad here, cartel runs the country pretty much" Midas chimes in. "That's terrible, the poor people of Bolivia..." Twitch says, the sadness in her voice alone shows that she's a very caring and emotional person, no question on why she became a counter terrorism operative.

After arriving at the safe house and unloading for the night you remove your ghost balaclava and other field related gear as you sit down on one of the available cots. Twitch smirks as she looks over at you "Wow, who knew there'd be a handsome guy under that scary ghost mask" she teases as she also begins removing her gear to get comfy. Midas of course laughs at her comment. Weaver shakes his head with a small chuckle "Fuckin hell" he says. Twitch finally removes her own balaclava and shakes her hair free causing you to retort "Funny, you're not so bad yourself" this causes Twitch to blush but the darkness of the poorly lit room hides it well enough, but she said nothing in response. You lie back in the cot "Well, gonna get shut eye, good luck with the GPS" you say to Twitch who is already sitting at a table in a blue tank top with her hair up in a bun, going to work on the repair. "Mhm, yeah thanks" she replies as if she doesn't even know what you said, so dug into her work already.
