(Operation Arcangel) Part Two

Caimanes Echo Safe House 05:00

You slowly peel your eyes open to see the sunlight beaming through barred windows of the safe house, you sit up and look for Twitch, you find her fast asleep face down at the table you last saw her sitting at causing you to smirk slightly. Weaver and Midas are gone but Holt is still sleeping.

You pull yourself up and begin gearing up, the noise you make while suiting up wakes Twitch, she jumps up into a panic "Oh bordel de merde!" She curses in her native language. You look over and chuckle "You okay?" She turns around in a panic "I fell asleep! I didn't finish tracing the GPS" she says in anger and disappointment. "Hey calm down, it's no problem, we can take an extra few hours to wrap this up" "Ne me dis pas de me calmer!" She shouts before easing up and looking back at you "Wait, 'We'?" She seems incredibly confused. "Yeah, I'll do whatever it takes to help you get this done so we can get a move on" you say as you begin taking your gear back off, in Bolivia whenever it was possible to unload all that gear, you had to take that opportunity. Twitch let's out a big smile "I appreciate it, but really this is a one person job, but if you don't mind..." she hesitates shyly. "Yeah?" You say curiously. She continues "I- I'm kind of hungry, and don't exactly know where to get good food in Bolivia... if you maybe possibly knew a place and could grab me something..." you burst out laughing and Twitch quickly speaks back up "Hey don't laugh!" She smiles, hiding her own laughter "A girls gotta eat no?" She finishes before finally giving in and laughing a bit. You couldn't help but find her adorable, her brown hair in a messy bun, how shy she was to simply ask for food, everything about her was pretty charming at the moment. "Yeah, I'll grab you some breakfast, Just let me get out of this gear, not a good look to roll into town with unless I'm on official business" you say as you finish taking off what gear you have left and changing into low key civilian clothes. You notice Twitch briefly glance at you as you change out of your military shirt into a normal one. As you're on your way out the door you knee Holt who is by this point certainly awake and this prompts him to get up and follow you out the door, he was wearing a black muscle shirt, good enough for civilian clothing.

Midas and Weaver are outside chatting while Midas enjoys a cigarette and the two pay little attention to you and Holt hopping in the truck that's stationed outside the safe house. With that you and Holt head off to the nearest town in search of food.

On the drive to town Holt and you talk about the new mission in general, thoughts on Twitch and again you brought up the whole 'What if Caveira is in with the cartel' thing. It wasn't long before you found a small food joint and simply ordered five breakfast sandwiches.

Upon pulling back into Caimanes Echo you see Twitch outside with Weaver and Midas who all look to be doing target practice, Twitch is sporting a G28 with an ACOG sight by the looks of it, it has some odd paint job done on it, looks like ice, fading from black to blue and then white. You and Holt get out and you hold up the bag of food and give it a gentle shake to catch their attention, Twitch notices and her eyes light up as she sprints over and waits in front of you like a puppy waiting for a treat. You hand her a sandwich and you swear you heard her squeal as she instantly started unwrapping it and took at seat at a table pressed up against the outside of the safe house. Everyone else comes and gets theirs and within ten minutes everyone is done. "Merci beaucoup" Twitch says as she stands up and begins gearing up. "Yeah no problem. You got a hit on the trucks origin point?" You ask curiously, wondering why she's gearing up otherwise. "Hmm? Oh, yeah I traced it back to a point in eastern La Cruz" she says as if everybody should already know by now and she puts her balaclava on. You and the other ghosts all look at each other in confusion, this was not at an ordinary mission for you guys. But you begin gearing up as fast as possible to get ahead on time missed already. Within minutes you're all good to go and all getting cramped up into the truck.
