"You deserve all of this!" They would say.
Then the figure would stab me in the neck. I would always wake up in a cold sweat. What did I tell you it was a nightmare after all. My parents would run in to calm me down. The one thing they majorly used was a story. It went,
"Once upon a time there was a magical world. This world had limitless possibilities. It was led by a council of families that had the powers of elements. The head of the council was the family of the light kingdom. The family of the dark kingdom acted as the right-hand man to the light kingdom. The family of the light kingdom consisted of Queen Bethany who married a nobleman named Joseph. Bethany gave birth to their son Eliott. On the other side, King Peter married a noblewoman named Christina who gave birth to Ellie.
The council had many rules to keep everyone in line. One of the biggest rules was don't reproduce with anyone with another powered. The council had many rules to keep everyone in line. One of the biggest rules was don't reproduce with anyone with another powered. This is why royal council members only marry noble members. It was forbidden for two people with different powers to have any type of romance. Nothing can stop love. Ellie and Elliot started as enemies due to given circumstances.
They spent time together while the council was in meetings. Enemies soon turned into friends. They both found out that they have feelings for each other. This led them to a night of wonder and love. Everything went downhill when a child from the plasma kingdom named Lily saw them kiss. She then ratted them out to the council. They were immediately jailed. Ellie soon found out that she was pregnant. Ellie and Elliot both being seventeen they wanted to protect their future child. So they ran away to safety."
I know it ends abruptly but it is just a children's fairytale. Once I got back to sleep I would have a better dream. I was in a field filled with different colored roses. Two people were standing in the middle of the field. The oddly had a warm and welcoming presence to them with a sense of familiarity. They would give me a big hug and then a boy with black hair with brown highlights and glasses would show up. The two people would shake their heads in agreement and then I would run into the boy's arms. Then like a fairytale where the couple rides off happily ever after the dream ended.
The series of events of the nightmare, fairytale, the dream started when I was seven years old. It didn't end until my parents got tired of the constant sleepless nights. I was then thrown into multiple doctor's offices. Then it suddenly stopped, and doctors could not explain why it happened in the first place. I suffered for six years and there was no reason why. Little did I know my life would be more connected to these weird events that happened in my life. The nightmares later came back because of me meeting him. Well, that's what I thought after that fateful night.
