Welcome to Underwater Adventure. My name is Aileen, though you may call me anything you'd like. Today I will be taking you the ocean as a merman. Please take a moment to get comfortable. It does not matter how you are positioned, so long as it makes you happy and you are unlikely to be disturbed.

I want you to take a deep breath in. As you breath in, count to four. Now, breath out while counting to four.

Great, now do it again. In to four, out to four. In to four, out to four. In four, out four. In four, out four.

Very good. Just keep breathing in four and out four as you relax.

Now, I would like you to envision a beach stretching out before you. Imagine the ocean gently sending rippling waves across the shore, hear the sounds of the ocean calling to you, of the seagulls flying ahead. Feel the gentle breeze, the sun shining down on you, and the warm sand beneath your bare feet. The ocean stretches on until it disappears into the horizon, and seashells dot the open landscape. Just before you, you can see a flat rock only barely sunken into the water. It's in the shade, covered by a palm tree. Feel the breeze gently pushing you forward to that little spot, feel the sand shifting beneath you as you walk to the rock. I would like you to sit down on the rock now, it's not sharp but a nice little platform you can sit on where your legs can be in the water.

I'm going to count to ten, and with every number you will feel the water come around you legs as you relax.

10. Leaning against the palm tree, sitting comfortably in the water and shade.

9. Taking deep breaths, relaxing as the cool water surrounds your legs.

8. Becoming more relaxed as you lounge on the beach. The more relaxed you feel, the happier you are. The happier you are, the more relaxed you become.

7. Starting to feel heavy now, allowing the stone and tree to support you as you relax even deeper.

6. Letting the waves begin to empty you now. It's so easy to allow the water to cool you, to let the waves fill your head.

5. Becoming more and more relaxed, more and more empty as the water covers and moves around your legs. Letting everything go now to just enjoy the moment, the lovely water. The more relaxed you are, the happier you feel. The happier you are, the more relaxed you become.

4. Feeling the water gently touching your waist now, and it feels just so wonderful to let the waves come against you. Your head's almost completely empty now, and that's okay. Letting the ocean and these words take their place so that you can just relax.

3. Completely empty now. No thoughts, no feelings other than the bliss the water brings. It's just so easy to let the sound of the waves fill your thoughts, to allow the water to take care of you. Focusing on these words as they bring the gentle waves to you.

2. Nearly there now, ready to become fully relaxed, to go even deeper. You would just love to go even deeper, to enjoy the beach even more. Feeling fully empty, ready to let the waves take you to the final number.

1. Feeling fully relaxed, fully empty, as you drop ten times deeper into relaxation. Feeling the sensation of bliss wash over you as you fall even deeper into relaxation, enjoying the water even more than you already had. It feels so wonderful to let go, to let the water take care of you, to protect you.

The water is just so wonderful, washing away your worries and frets. Wouldn't it be amazing to relax even more, to let the waves bring you even deeper into relaxation? In a moment, I will tell you to drop, and when I do, you will instantly fall ten times deeper into relaxation, into the pure bliss the ocean brings you.

Are you ready?

Drop.

It just feels so amazing, to let these words and the water do the thinking for you, to let the waves gently flow across you. As you let the water come over your legs again and again, you may notice, or perhaps you've already noticed, a strong sensation tugging at your feet. As you focus on this sensation you feel even more relaxed as your feet begin to grow heavy with relaxation. The more you focus on this sensation, the more relaxed you become, and the more relaxed you become, the stronger this sensation becomes.

Feel it gently spread up your legs, making them feel so heavy and wonderful. Feel as they slowly drift together, laying next to each other. They become just so heavy, you couldn't move them, but you don;t want to. They just feel so relaxed, so wonderful.

Feel the sensation spread into your waist now, making everything from the waist down feel so wonderful and relaxed, so heavy. As you focus on this sensation, you begin to notice, or perhaps you've already noticed, that your toes have begun to change. They begin to lengthen as webbing appears between them, growing and shifting into long, beautiful fins. Notice your legs coming together now, slowly merging into one as scales begin to appear across them. Feel your legs as one now, combined into one beautiful tail, glimmering in the sunlight just below the water. Looking at your new tail fills you with joy, knowing that it would be able to carry you through the water as fast as you'd like.

The idea of becoming a merman, to be underwater and go where you wish, to breathe underneath the sea, it's a wonderful idea that fills you with joy. As you were inspecting your new strong tail, you began to notice, or perhaps you've already noticed, that the relaxing sensation had begun to spread upwards into your stomach, making it feel so relaxed and wonderful.

Feel the sensation crawl upwards, into your chest and shoulders, making them feel so relaxed, so heavy. Feel it come down your arms as small fins sprout on them, and into your hands and fingers as webbing grows between them to help you swim in the water. It feels so wonderful, so deeply relaxing as everything below the neck is so heavy, so relaxed, and transformed into a merman.

Feel it come up into your neck now, relaxing it as gills appear on your neck. You have no trouble breathing on the surface, and you know that these gills will allow you to breathe just as well underneath the water. Feel the sensation come up into your face now, washing you over fully in relaxation as you become a merman.

Now fully turned into a merman, you dive into the water, letting the cooling sensation cover you completely. Swimming deeper and deeper into the sea, further and further from the shore, allowing yourself to swim as fast and far as you'd like. You can see fish swimming along side you, playing with you. The ocean feels so cool, so welcoming, and you swim deeper and deeper into the ocean, letting the new colors and life show itself to you.

Seeing all the wonderful creatures in the deep ocean, all the plant life and little fish playing and swimming with you just makes you feel so wonderful, so happy. The ocean is yours to explore, yours to live in. You can go as deep and as far as you'd like. Your powerful tail will allow you to travel anywhere, your scales will allow you to withstand any temperature.
