Chapter 39. Scorpio's Poison

I tired to climb down the tree but it was so tall taking If I fell down, I swear not even a single bone would be left unbroken. All I see was loud destructions and yelling. I was nearly the end of the tree and as I placed my feet on the ground and then other, I stumbled down on by back by the pain. My feet had landed upon something sharp, I turned it around to see a... scorpio on the grass.

The pain was getting impossible to it, my feet not only pain heavily but also my body to some extend. I rushed away from it and stood up barely able to walk. Then I on my naked foots ran inside the entrance, I need to reach to them as soon as possible. As I was about to enter, someone grabbed me by chest. I was stunned and my heartbeat ragged.

The touch was extremely warm and I know I have felt it before.  I looked up to see hyung, and almost dozed off, of course not by his beautiful face but by the shivering pain I can't let him see.

'Let's escape this place, it's dangerous. A fight has erupted', he said and I couldn't believe he said this. He is powerful enough to fight back then why does he wants us to escape in wooden boots?

I gulped as my courage was crippled by the inside groans of mine.

'H-hyung, we need to stop the fight inside, it's ruining the carnival and....

Before I could complete, he shushed me with a finger. My first priority is to protect you.

Then please fight alongside me... 'And my first priority is to stop that fight', I said with bold eyes. I know I could get much in trouble but I can form many more piles of lie for having him in the arena now. I couldn't tell him about the bite or he might rush me to the nearby hospital.

'Where are your shoes?', he asked me.

'Nevermind', I said and placed my hands on his shoulder, 'Can I ride you?' I asked awkwardly. It was truly embarrassing to ask for such a favour with a cute mochi face.

He leaned a little with a Seokjin kind of smile. What a gentlemen. I rode on his back and tried to hide my pale blue feet which was getting inflamed. He grabbed my thighs and I his shoulder. What a ride, I thought.

'Ready Sir?', I asked him politely in his ear.

'Anytime sir', he shouted loudly which almost made me fall behind and started to ran, carrying me in a piggyback.

Jennie opened her eyes and with all the strength left she tried to look up, her muscles barely move an inch. The tears she shed had no now made her vision blurred up. She saw to the right was Jisoo lying unconcious and to ahead of her were two legs and blood stain dripping down near the shoes.

She looked up and her eyebrows raised to see V waving at her. His head was bleeding heavily and also the hand was a horrific sight to look at.

'V..', she muttered and tied to get up.

'I just punch her head slightly', he said and made a pout, it was still so cute even when his face was dead beaten up. Just then also he realised that he is covered in bruises. He glanced himself in shock, 'Wha! My the hell am I covered in scars?' he asked to himself innocently.

Jennie smiled at his innocence.

'I remember, I was standing next to Jimin but then got ahead of him and also got a punch on my chin. That wasn't painfully yet I acted as If It hurt so much that I had fallen unconscious' he said and Jennie soundly listened to him, 'But then I fell asleep'

Jennie blinked a several time as he heard it, he continued, 'And now that I am awake, why am I soaked in wounds?' he asked and Jennie giggled out.

'Why, wha? asked innocent Tae.

He then emitted his usual green spectrum to heal himself and Jennie by lunging on his knees. Within seconds all their bruises returned back to normal, fine and well.

Jennie quickly jumped hugging him and looked at Jisoo who wasn't there.

A white horse crossing through the wood has Jisoo to. Carried by Lisa who rode it. It looks like Lisa is the one to sneak her unconscious comrade out.

I was getting dizzy and dizzy as much as I tried to keep my eyes opened. But before arriving to our set destination, we encounter two people in the in the ice-cream shop, eating, what else can they eat. The shop was named as Jennie's Ice-cream.

Hyung reached by them and asked, 'What are you guys doing here when there is a fight erupting there?'

'The fight is over', answered V.

'Yup, wanna have a scoop?' asked Jennie as she finished hers.

'Sure, you want Chimchim?' he asked me.

I wad in no state to have one, I abruptly lunged down and groaned loudly inside my brain when I had landed with both my feets. But I couldn't hide my expression of deep pain. Hyung was facing me his back so he didn't noticed but V and Jennie did. It was good to not explain him,

'I need to have a word with V', I said and pulled V's wrist and took him far away running, making hyung ran in confusion. I hope Jennie won't steal her in alone time. Finally, we reached by some silent monotonous area but filled with shops. I sat on one such table and showed V my feet which was a potato by now. She leaned down and looked at it, and poked it intentionally. I frowned as I saw him giggle.

'Scorpion bite', he said and I nodded.

But now he had something to say which would drop my stomach, 'Sorry, I can't heal it' he said.

'Why?' I asked with a scream.

He smirked, 'You had hit my chin earlier and now it feels like it's displaced from it's location', he completed and I ran into laughter forgetting my pain. But it was really gone after I was done. I didn't felt any sort of pain, my feet was back to normal in a fine shape.

'Thankyou', I said and placed my legs down but they didn't reached the soil below, V sat next to me and his dead in a perfect place. Envious....

I swinging my legs and asked, 'Piggyback me all the way there pleaseeeeeeeee',

'Why? You're feet is completely fine?' he asked.

'But I want to rest now', I said sounding a bit cheesy but that can work on Taebear.

'Okay, fine' he said and smiled, 'Today was quite a day' he said and I added a agreeing, 'Ya'

'We have been to fair, met an enemy and so on so...' he said and continued on nonstop.

'Where is Jisoo?' I asked him.

'She wasn't on the site after I healed Jennie and Myself' he said.

I lips dropped, 'Now even more enemy, did you brain-washed her?' I asked.

'I told you I didn't got the time', he said irritatedly.

I was pretty tensed up again now, guess happiness truly lies for seconds. He noticed my sad face and wrapped me in a warm hug by the side.

'Don't worry, I'll protect you pabo', he said and kissed my cheek. I smiled while closing my eyes.

But a sudden thought was to struck my mind, 'Are we forgetting something?' I asked him.

He leaned back and asked, 'What?'

I stood up instantly and with eyebrows raised up and wide eyes I said, 'The Riddle!'
