My sister has changed since she's been here. She's quiet, cold, she looks older. She's seven now, her birthday was last month but she's not happy. I can see it in her face. She looks strong, not like the last time I saw her. Her dark brown hair was tangled and her blue eyes full of fear and courage.
We sit there, all looking at each other. My dad was trying to talk to Cassie but she didn't even look at him.
"Cassie, baby please talk to me..." He says softly. All she did was sigh and look away.
"Cassie what did they do to you?" I ask worried.
"Nothing Caspian. We just have to get out of here." She says. Her voice is hard and demanding. She doesn't sound like my six...now seven sister anymore. It pains me to see her like this. I struggle against my ropes and get my right hand untied. "Dad...I-I got it. I'm free." I say and smile proudly. Then I hear a scoff. "It's not going to do you any good Caspian. You won't make it out of the room before you're shot and killed. I would stay right there if I were you." Cassie retorts. Okay now I know this wasn't my sister. "What is wrong with you Cassie!? You were sweet and kind and gentle! Why are you being a jerk!?" I yell at her. "Calm down Caspian it's not her fault. She was tortured her for a good six months. She isn't ever going to be the same." My father tells me. That's when the door clicks open. "Look. At. This. A little family reunion. Tell me Agent Waters....where is it!?" The man says slapping my father making his lip bust open. "Why should I tell you?!" My father counters. "Don't make me use your children against you." The man says looking at us. I scoot back in my seat and pull at my other ropes. My sister on the other hand, stays put.
"Where is it!?" The man asks again as he beats our dad senseless. We both screamed and cried now. "Let him go! Please please let him go!" My sister cries. "Miss Waters...maybe you know where it is." He says walking over to her. "Leave her alone!" I snap and glare at him. "Mr. Waters...tell me where it is or..." He puts his finger on his lip and taps it as he decided a way to torture us. "Or your father dies." He points a gun at my father and Cassie screams. "Daddy! Daddy no." She cries. "Shut her up!" He snaps and a guard covers her mouth. I weigh my choices, I did know where the weapon volt was but I was sworn not to tell. "I. Don't. Know. I say through clenched teeth. Then I hear a gun go off and the screams of my sister. I hear a thud as my dad hits the floor. I start crying. We were orphans now.
