You walked downstairs with Julie to see Ratigan was reading the news in the sunlit room, he looked up then back down and continue to read. Julie looks and smiled, then walked into the kitchen. You followed and were making toast." ____ you didn't tell me you had a friend over? Who is he?" She made a smile and looked up from making tea." You do ask a lot after just waking up... And his name is Ratigan, I found him on my way home when.. I kind of got a bit lost..." You said waiting for your toast to be done." Well you seriously found a handsome one~, I bet you already like him" she cooed while pouring her tea, you looked at her with a slight blush a crosses your face.

" No don't start that again please, you do this every time a guy comes near me.."You grabbed the hot toast out and started to sooth butter onto its warm surface, she flicked her tail as she walked out carrying another cup of tea. " I'm not why would you say that?" She set the tea on the table next to him and sat down in a chair a crossed from the couch.
You walked out and sat down on the couch a cushion away from Ratigan, he put the newspaper down and picked up the tea." Thank you..."
He said in his deep silk voice, Julie almost laughed but contained it." Your welcome, but you should thank ____ she thought you'd like to have some tea" Julie cooed through her little lie.

You had gotten up holding a piece of toast in your mouth and were putting on a record, flicked your tail looking back at Julie. Ratigan was watching silently but made it look like he wasn't too interested. You walked over to Julie garbed her by the arm and pulled her out of her chair to talk to her. Walking to the stairs Julie was smirking and almost dropped her tea still holding onto it, as you let go of her she sipped the tea looking innocent." If you keep doing stuff like that I'll make your death be unsolvable that not even basil of Baker Street could figure it out." You said jokingly and agitated a bit. But Ratigan took notice, his ears were perked forward, they went back so it didn't look like he was listening. Julie made a maudlin face and put her pinkie out from her cup as she gasped. " I don't know what you're talking about?" You rolled your eyes." I see what you're trying to do... But let's head back over so he doesn't think we are talking about him.." you said as you peaked over your shoulder, your eyes met with his golden glow eyes which caused you to turn around almost making you fall and a warm blush went crossed your cheeks. Julie kept her face blank of expression trying not to laugh, but she walked back over with you when you composed yourself again, she took your spot on the couch forcing you to sit in the middle.

You sat down reluctantly but didn't show it, sitting down one leg ontop the other with arms crossed as you finished the piece of toast. Before you could react Julie lightly kicked you causing you to slide right onto Ratigan's side. Holding back your blush but it slightly showed, he looked over slightly and put his muscular arm a crossed your shoulders. You were now pressed against his warm side, feeling a ninja-like blush escaping through the fur on your face but it tried to keep to the shadows.

Julie watched childishly and then got up to go get more tea, the music had stopped and the silence made the seconds longer then they seemed. She walked back out, took the record off and put on another. The first few seconds you didn't know what song it was but then it hit you. You sprang right up and were going to tackle her. Julie's eyes widened and ran to the stairs laughing.

" Basils going to have a field day you know!!" You said about to run at her, but you were caught in a soft warm embrace like manner. Ratigan had put the newspaper down and had pulled you down and was holding you back. A soft short gasp escaped your lips as you squirmed to get free of his grip, your face a deep rose-red now.

Julie was holding onto the railing laughing as well as her sides, you were holding onto the side of his arms that were gently but strongly against you, clinging onto the white silk fabric. A silent chuckle escaped his lips as well as a small smirk.

"You're so dead!!" You said now kicking your legs, he loosened his arms a bit before saying something." You should have known that you couldn't get out my dear.." You stopped and were silent, the music had stopped as well. "Sometimes there is a small percentage that what I think is wrong... And this w-was one of those times.." You stuttered, noticing you were slumped into his chest because the way he had gotten ahold of you. Your mind raced as you thought~Did he see my face this whole time!~ Julie walked back over whipping the laughter tears out of her eyes and unclenching her hand from her side. His grip was getting lighter, the strong soft gates that held you back were not closed anymore and he just smirked.

Barely able to get out of your perfect arch you stood up, Julie had disappeared tho. You sat back down on the couch a cushion away from him once again and looked around without moving your eyes looking for Julie. She was gone like a shadow in the light, and soon your flood of thoughts was whipped away by Ratigan's voice." By the way, your words are put you are a smart detective?" He hummed questionably and continued on. You turned your head and noded." Yes, I am.. And my pain in the behind assistance there is Julie." She poked her head out of the kitchen and gave a loud retort." Hay I can hear you, you know!!" Leaning over and picking up a half-eaten toast you though it at Julie. " you are and you know it butt munch!" You laughed slightly as you got semi-comfortable again. Julie gave a last retort before going back into the kitchen."Fine, guess I won't make any crumpets!"
