*Demi's POV

Izzy got into the passenger side and I walked around and sat in the drivers seat. I got my keys out of my pocket and started to drive.

"Seriously, Demi. Where are we going? I don't like surprises.." Izzy said, worried.

"Starbucks" I smiled.

"Oh" Izzy said. She sounded disappointed.

"What's wrong? I thought everyone likes Starbucks"

Izzy shook her head. "Yeah, Starbucks is good".

Not long later, we pulled into Starbucks. I undid the seat belts and I got out of the car.

"We're here, Izzy." I opened the door for Izzy and she slowly got out.
After I locked the car, we both walked to the entrance and queued for our coffee.

"Okay Izzy,  what would you like?"

*Izzy's POV

"Okay Izzy, what would you like?"

I didn't really want anything but I couldn't dissapoint Demi.

I scanned the board behind the baristas and chose the drink with the lowest amount of calories.

Demi ordered the drinks and I went to find a table to sit at. I found one by the window and sat down.
I went onto my phone and opened my secret account on twitter.

@unbrxkenfuckup: ....Calories..  this isn't going to end well.

Not long later, Demi came with the drinks and sat down.
I locked my phone and grabbed my drink.

I played with the handle on the cup for a minute.

"Izzy.." Demi sighed.

"Yeah..?" I asked.

"Could I ask you something?"

My heart was beating fast.

"Um.. Yeah, Dem.." I managed to breathe out.

"Do you have troubles with food?"

I felt like dying there on the spot. How did she know?! Am I making this obvious?

I looked down to my lap.
A tear formed in my eye and left a cold trail down my cheek.

I slowly nodded my head.

"It's okay, Izzy. We'll get through this together. You'll be okay." Demi murmured.

I gave her a small smile.
"Thanks but you don't have to do this, Demi"

"Izzy, I want to"

I sighed.

Just then, I got a phone call from my mum.

"Izzy, how late will you be? I bought you a dvd. I thought we could have a DVD night in, just me and you." Mum suggested.

"Umm... I wont be long mum, just having a coffee."

"Okay. Don't be home later than 7pm!"

"I won't mum, love you. Bye"

"Love you too"

I hung up the phone and looked at the time. It was 6. I had an hour to spare.

I took a small sip of my coffee, to please Demi.

"I have to be home soon" I said to Demi.

"I'll drive you home"

I nodded.

I left almost all of my coffee and once Demi had finished herd, we both got up and walked to the car.

I got into the car and so did Demi.

Demi pulled off.

"Izzy, where do you live?"

I giggled.

"342 Woodfield Drive. It's near the town." I explained.

Demi turned in the right direction.

"Demi.." I asked.

"Mhmm?"

"I was wondering.. How badly do you want the VMA award?"

"Why, Izzy?" Demi asked.

"Well.. I was thinking of staying awake later than usual and waking up early so I can help get extra votes in" I said.

"No, Izzy. You need your rest more than I want that award." There was a short pause before Demi spoke again. "Can you promise me something, Izzy?"

I know where this is going.

"Can you promise me that you will eat your dinner tonight? You don't have to eat all of it. Just.. at least half of what's on your plate."

I sighed.

"Please Izzy. For me?" Demi pleaded.

"Hm, I'll try."

I have to try. Not just for Demi but for myself. I want to recover. I want to be normal. I want to be able to finish a meal without feeling sick.

Part of me is absolutely terrified of recovery... Terrified of gaining weight, terrified of all of the comments from people that I would recieve after recovery, terrified of the voices and feeling worthless and fat. Completely terrified.
