I ran through the trees in my wolf form, my paws digging through the hard ground and the wind rippling through my thick fur.

My wolf was howling in my head blissfully but I couldn't dare howl out loud, I didn't want anyone else knowing about this place.

As the familiar scent of a beautiful aroma I couldn't distinguish wafted up my nose, my wolf purred in content.

The narrow river finally came in sight, slow moving, powerful and as black the night itself. The trees swooshed in the windy evening and the ghostly movements they made soothed my whole rigid being.

This place was still a mystery to me yet it always made me feel safe but it also made me feel less powerful. Something about it screamed out 'power' so whenever I came to a halt by the banks, my wolf would shrink in size to a lazy wolf with it's head on it's paws as the gentle energy that flowed here resonated through me like massaging hands taking away the stiffness in my joints and making me feel brand new.

It was a november night, the same night that I had turned sixteen. It was the very first time I had found this place which happened to be three years ago.

After drinking and partying with my pack, my wolf had nudged me and nudged me again and again until I had finally gave in and we had found ourselves here in the midst of foreign woods I had never set foot or paw in before.

This place was scarred to me and I didn't even know why. Maybe it was the sweet scent in the air. Maybe it was the powerful dominant air that floated around or maybe it was just my wolf but I had fallen in love with the ugly muddy river.

This place had been my secret place for three years by now. My own little world and I didn't even know why but I always had a feeling I was never alone here.

I would close my eyes for an hour and let the calm this place offered wash over me and then I would sigh and turn from the black river knowing it was my time to go.

But today things were different, the scent was stronger, the power was stronger and I just couldn't help the so evident feeling of comfort, peace and harmony, close to the feeling you felt when your mom hugged you or when your dad patted your back proudly with a smile on his face.

It was familiar in a way I couldn't explain, like this feeling belonged to me. Like I was connected to it somehow.

Then my senses were hit with a stronger scent and it heightened the feelings I was already going through.

Something, someone was here, near and whoever or whatever was here had my wolf relentless. Curious, playful and happy in a way so I set off, following the strong scent that seemed to be everywhere.

After running in circles for almost an hour, I finally quit my search that proved to be useless, the scent was now overbearing, it was strong and it was everywhere, it had no source almost like it was mine but that was impossible so after running out of places to check in this forest, my wolf whimpered slightly at the loss and I decided make my way back to the pack house but just as I was about to leave, I felt it again, the playful teasing scent and right now it happened to be coming from a specific somewhere which was a narrow pathway I could swear hadn't been there before.

I looked at the pitch black starless sky and decided to follow the scent just for other ten minutes and after the short walk, I found something unbelievable up the small hill I had climbed.

A house, like tiny beautiful house sat there mocking me but I could swear it had just not been here before. What was even crazier than the magically appearing house was the amount of energy the house emitted, it was dominant and powerful and my wolf submitted which was something that surprised me too since seeing as I was an Alpha wolf, we submitted to only our mates but just the thought finding my mate here was a little disturbing and I had my answer when I saw the painting that stood there on the porch.

My wolf froze and I tensed up completely staring in shock at the clear drawing that seemed to have been left there to dry.

"Hello there wolfie" Someone's voice said and I didn't even startle, if nature had a voice it would the one that had greeted me, it was soothing, exotic, feminine but masculine enough to tell you it was guy and I don't why but my whole body relaxed once I heard it.

My wolf turned and I was staring at an amazing creature in front of me, it was a tall pale guy that had naturally looking white hair that fell down to his bottom and God, If he wasn't the most beautiful person I had ever seen.

"Hy sweetie! Change, I want to meet you in human form" He said softly and my wolf complied without second thought.

If his wide eyed were because of my nudity or realization from the undeniable similarity between me and the painting, I wouldn't know but this angelic guy just stood there, eyes wide in disbelief and I lowered my eyes in submission, something my body seemed to be doing on it's own accord.

"Killian" He said as his eyes raked up down my face and my brows frowned in confusion wondering how and where this guy knew my father.
