She stood still for a moment watching certain people's reactions. Makoto refused to look directly at her, instead staring at the floor- terrified. Kyoko looked slightly shocked and Hajime had a large, angry grimace across his face.
"W-we killed you!" Makoto looked up with a cocktail of anger, fear and sadness upon his face, "You were...dead..."
"Well yeah! Obviously!" Junko said in her casual voice with a slight grin spreading across her face as she made a cross with her arms and stuck her tongue out, "But I'm the Ultimate Despaaaiiir! I'll always come back!"
"I-um, sorry Makoto, I know what she's done but she doesn't have anything to do with this..." Shuichi chimed in.
Junko had explained herself when Shuichi and the others found her, she wasn't lying when she claimed to not know what was going on- yet the others still seemed unsure of her, especially Nagito.
"And how do you know that?!" Makoto yelled with tears in his eyes, "Do you know what she did to us?!"
"Naegi, I do understand but I believe trusting Ms. Enoshima is within our best interests, for now," Celestia calmly announced.
"I-I...whatever..." Junko watched as Makoto stormed off, small tears falling to the grass below him.
"So, bitches!" Junko proudly walked forward waving her arm, "Where do we go n-..."
The Ultimate Despair was immediately cut of by a loud explosion and flash of light from a distant building. She- and everyone else- turned to the noise, only to see two silhouettes standing on the roof of the centre building and firing a flare gun again whilst waving their arms.
"Hey! I think I recognise those people!" Then, without warning, Levan ran into the forest towards the corridor at one of the walls. He was immediately followed by Aiko and 2 other girls from Makoto's group.
"Where the hell do they think they're going?!" Nekomaru shouted angrily, grabbing a small chef boy and Hajime before sprinting after them with a loud war cry.
"I suppose we should follow them..." Nagito chuckled as he slowly wandered into the forest- followed by everyone except Junko and Makoto.
"Hey, little hope boy!" Junko had grabbed his shoulder as he began walking which seemingly froze him in fear, "I know you don't trust me and all that, ya? But I'm not behind this, okaaay? Anyway, we better follow these bozos!"The trek through the forest was long and boring, for Junko...incredibly boring. Eventually, the girl reached a large vault-like, steel door that was surrounded by the huge flock of people. Nekomaru and another boy were launching themselves full force into the door, they're buff shoulders banging into the metal but not breaking it.
"Gonta thinks this is useless!" The other boy shouted as he bent over panting.
"Yeah...you're right!" Nekomaru yelled in his deep, booming voice, "This is shit!"
"Something even the Ultimates can't get past? Oh my, maybe despair should take us all now..." Nagito shook his head and held himself tightly, "No...of course not...hope surpasses all obstacles!"
"Shut up already, Nagito!" Hajime shouted, clearly tired of him.
"Sorry to interrupt your insignificant squabbling but I appear to have found a small keypad," Celestia said calmly with a wide smile as Junko walked over.
"Oh really? Let's try and crack open this Beeyatch!" Junko imputed 11037 into it but was met with a loud, metallic screech and a robotic voice saying 'Incorrect'.
"Fuck! Hey you, hope boy!" Junko now yelling with her tongue out, "You're lucky, right? Come do this!"
"You need help from worthless trash like me?" Nagito awkwardly laughed and walked over before pressing 5 random buttons on the pad.
Suddenly, the large metal door erupted with a loud symphony of grinds and screeches as it slowly retracted into the dirty ground and opened up the large, glass tunel to the centre. Everyone paused for a moment before wildly sprinting down the pathway, the loud sound of feet on grass echoing about the clear, glass walls. At the end of the corridor, they were met with the towering mansion that was contained in the central glass dome. The mansion wasn't the only thing that greeted them, as 3 other groups of 16 had emerged from the end of their respective tunnels. Noise stopped, the only small sound was the gentle breeze bouncing from the high roof; it was completely silent...for a few moments at least. Suddenly, a girl with long brown hair in a red top and black skirt, ran over to a boy dressed in all purple and hugged him tightly- her eyes welling with tears and a broken smile forming across her face as she whispered something to him. More followed suit as a small, red-haired girl with a witch's hat ran to a taller girl with dark hair in a blue outfit; after that, a blonde girl in a royal outfit swiftly walked over to a gothic-looking boy that had 4 hamsters on his shoulders. Then came a tall boy with a large, overhanging mess of hair who sprinted to a shorter boy with short, dark hair and hugged him.
"Well, isn't this a beautiful reunion?" Junko stepped forward and watched as people turned to look at her- some angry, some terrified, some confused, "That's right! It's me, Junko Enoshima! The Ultimate Desp-"
She suddenly stopped as she saw someone she was not expecting- her sister. Mukuro stood there silently, just staring back at Junko with an expressionless face. Ikusaba's short, black locks swayed a little in the wind as her deep, grey eyes stared blankly into her sister's soul. Junko's thoughts were interrupted as a girl with long purple hair pounced at her.
"I-oh my, It's been so long!" Junko recognised this to be Mikan Tsumiki a...follower of Junko's, as the girl buried her face in the Ultimate Despair's chest, "I've missed you, my beloved!"
"Oh dear God, someone get this bitch off me!" Junko shouted, only for her sister to swiftly swipe Mikan off of her chest with a light cut to the legs.
"Hello, sister," Mukuro nodded and stood in a protective stance in front of her sibling.
"Oh my God!" Junko hugged her whilst jumping up and down, "Muka-Muka-Mukuro!"
"Oh...oh my is it r-really you?" Junko turned her head to see a tall, blue-haired girl with glasses that was drooling at the mouth, "Is...it really...Junko Enoshima!"
"Ya! What's it to you?" Junko felt Shuichi retreat behind her.
"I-I'm such a big fan...hehe," the girl said and raised her hand- quivering, "I'm...Tsumugi Shirogane, the Ultimate Cosplayer!"
"Great...whatever," Enoshima slapped Tsumugi's hand away, leaving the girl to giggle then join Mikan and Mukuro behind the mastermind of the first killing game.
Junko looked back over to the crowds and was met with very different scenes. The tall brown-haired girl had stopped hugging and was now holding a small purple-haired boy up by his neck with a sharp look in her eyes.
"Maki! Stop!" Shuichi, now sprinting towards them, yelled, "It's not worth it! Just let Kokichi go!"
Junko watched on as the girl dropped Kokichi to the floor and then turned to a similar scene. A boy with a black face mask and red hair was trying to attack a girl with white hair who was curled up on the floor with teary eyes. He was being restrained by Shijime and another boy with a small hat and a guitar in his other hand.
"You killed him! You fucking whore!" The boy in the mask yelled whilst trying to kick the small girl.
More fights erupted as a small blonde girl in all orange was making fun of Mikan; Kiyotaka was yelling at Celeste, with Mondo scowling at her from behind his friend; the witch girl and her dark-haired partner were shouting insults and curses to a taller boy with long locks of dark hair that wore a detailed brownish outfit and a black face mask.
"Sorry to interrupt!" A familiar voice echoed from the roof and caused everyone to stop and stare, "That's right, kids! It's me! Monokuma!"
The black and white bear flew off the roof and landed in front of Junko.
"Hey miss! Sorry but you don't own me now!" Monokuma laughed and began running around until he bumped into a robotic looking boy, "Move it, Rust Bucket!"
The metallic boy held the bear up above his head and glared at it. "I am not doing this again!"
"Woah there robo boy!" Monokuma giggled, "Put me down or I'll make you short circuit!"
The robot dropped them and stomped off angrily, probably deducing the consequences of manhandling the bear.
"Anyway!" Monokuma sprang up and landed on one of the balconies of the mansion, "As I was saying, it's round 2 for all of you! Get ready to trust no-one, kill your classmates and get investigating because you're all in another killing game!"
The dome fell silent for a few moments before visible confusion, fear, anger and sadness set in among the crowd. People's smiles deteriorated to frowns and scowls as despair overwhelmed their eyes.
"Oh come on! It's not that bad! You're all here!" Monokuma held a paw to its mouth and laughed, "More murder! More excitement! More despair!"
The area was still silent and unmoving- the occasional sob echoing out from a few people.
"Ugh. I was hoping for a better reaction. Come on, Junko? Tsumugi? Mikan? No?" The bear stared at their unmoving faces, Junko's hiding confusion; I'm not in control- the thought whirled throughout her mind, "Fine. You all share rooms with others. 6 in a dorm. Head upstairs and get settled in! Imagine it as a holiday home!"Junko was one of the first to head to her room, leaving the huge masses to contemplate what was happening. 'Crimson Dorm- Junko, Tsumugi, Mikan, Mukuro, Popee and Celestia' was printed in gold on the front of the polished, oak door. Enoshima slowly creaked the door over and, sure enough, the room lived up to it's name. The dorm was relatively big- with 6 beds at the dark, crimson walls- each of the 3 walls held 2 single beds that were draped with blood-red covers and pillows that looked like they'd been dipped in a vat of red paint. The other wall that the door was part of was filled small, redwood desks- flooded with the supplys to write, draw or paint anything. Slanted shelves hung from the walls above the beds- each holding something to do with the person's ultimate talent- Junko's had numerous poisons, daggers and various weapons strewn about the wooden shelf. The fashionista sprang herself on to the bed, noticing another oak door that must've led to another space of obnoxiously dark red- presumably a bathroom. Finally, an arch stood between Junko and what must have been Mukuro's bed that created an opening to a lovely marble balcony- smothered in crimson carpet that adorned the interior too.
"Hello? Oh hello there Ms Enoshima," Celestia appeared in the doorway, "I believe we are sharing a dormitory."
Junko rolled her eyes with a bored look as the gambler headed to a bed that was very clearly hers. It was crested with a Queen of Diamonds pillow- shadowed by a shelf that was a compilation of cards, coins and glittering trinkets. She was followed by Mikan and Tsumugi who were seemingly still in a craze over Junko- making direct eye contact with the Ultimate Despair as they sat on their beds in silence like dogs waiting for commands. Finally came Mukuro and a new face, must've been Popee. The boy looked distressed- his red brows furrowing as he wandered to his bed, green hair swaying.
"Ya sooooo, I'm gonna go to sleep," Junko gazed outside, seeing the sky turning dark, "Wake me up and I'll spoon your fucking eyes out!"
She turned over and buried her face- still confused about the strange happenings. The girl awoke to an announcement that she had never expected.
"Ding, dong. Dong, ding! A body has been discovered!" Junko shot up, her room empty already as the time read 9:30am, "Now then, after a certain amount of time has passed, the class trial will begin!"
Less than 24 hours in...Junko's thoughts bounced around in her head as she ran to the balcony and shouted out.
"Hey! Is anyone down there? Who's de-" she turned her face downwards and saw him on the stone floor beneath the balcony. Makoto was dead in a pool of his own blood...
