Bring the ice cream

Liam's POV:

After a minute Skyler started crying. Like, full on sobbing. The sight broke my heart.

I held her while she cried uncontrollably.

Lou woke up, saw her, and in an instant was at her other said also hugging her. She flinched away from his touch, but then relaxed. I hated seeing her cry.

She stopped crying but was still shaking. I had to make her feel good; I can't stand it if she's upset. Talking about it helps, so I asked her the first thing that popped into my mind.

"Hey love, want to talk about it while we eat chocolate ice cream?"

Her head snapped up when I said chocolate ice cream.

"Did you just say chocolate ice cream?" she asked in a shaky voice, but the smile that rested upon her plump lips was evident.

"Yes?" I said, though it sounded more like a question.

"Bring the ice cream" She said in a sassy tone. I can already tell she and Lou will get along so well.

"WHOOP WHOOP" Niall cheered. Food is definitely his love.

At the loud noise Kendall and Scarlett bolt right up and looked at us with frightened expressions. They calmed down when they saw Skyler though.

So Skyler spent the next twenty minutes explaining who we are and all that mumbo jumbo to them.

I went to get the ice cream, and was sure welcomed when I got back.

"Omgeeee!" they all said at the same time. We were all laughing at them. They took their tubes and before I could even open mines they were already eating theirs.

They ate quicker than Niall freaking Horan! I stared in shock, and so did the lads.

"Wow" was all Zayn said. We all nodded in agreement.

Scarlett just shrugged "Wait till you hear our story"

Then Skyler, Kendall and Scarlett proceed to break my heart by telling us their story. I had tears in my eyes. How could their mom do that to them? They lost their dad. In a way their mom. They were tortured every day. They weren't fed. They basically didn't have fun during their teen years. They were left out on so many things...

"Then she kicked us out, gave us the tickets, and said that she never wants to see us again" Kendall finished. I admit, I was curious about what her mom was planning.

They had all cried like crazy, finished their chocolate ice cream and used about three tissue boxes. And to be honest, we lads also cried. It was heart breaking, but yet inspiring. They are so strong.

"It's not everything, but you at least deserved to know why you had to rescue us" Skyler said. She then stood up, still a little wobbly, and looked around. Pain filled her eyes.

Kendall and Scarlett also stood up. They all looked at each other for a minute. They seem to be communicating through their eyes; it was pretty cool to watch. They all nodded once before looking at us.

"You have no idea how much we appreciate everything you did for us, we are forever in debt with you" kendall started "We would say call us if you need anything, but umm, we have no phones. And we don't exactly have where to stay so you can't drop by..."

"Thank you so much. You have no idea how much you mean to us, but we have to leave. I'm really sorry to have bothered you. I can't believe all you did for us. I hope you remember us, because we sure won't forget y'all"

We all stared at them. What the hell? They were leaving? Why? No. I liked them! I want them to stay. They have nowhere to go, and even though we only know them for a couple of hours I already consider them family.

"Nooooo! You are not leaving!" Lou yelled.

"You have nowhere to go!" Harry yelled at them, making them take a step back. I completely understand, it's like they expect someone to beat them up every second.

Harry noticed and mumbled "Sorry, I didn't meant to sound so harsh"

"Don't worry, and we know, but we can't stay here. You are One Directuon, and we are no bodies. No one other than my dad has ever loved us. We would only screw you guys up, and we don't want to be your charity case. Plus management wouldn't let you, and you don't know us" Scarlett said looking sad.

"You are staying with us, like It or not. You are now our friend. No bodie's my ass, you mean the world to us. And don't say all that crap about not knowing you cuz we do. We know all about your life story and you, maybe not all but enough to know you are great girls. From now on you're living with us. You can now officially part of the One Direction family" Zayn said. Well he is know for being the deep, wise one.

"We'll get to know you with time. That's how it works." Harry said smiling lightly.

The girls looked at each other, clearly having and internal battle.

"You are never gonna be abused again" Niall said, me nodding in agreement.

The girls shared a long look before smiling at us.

"Okay, let's give it a try" Scarlett winked.
