Rhiannon’s POV
“I really want to text them,” I say eager to talk to them again. Ricki and I are so happy that we met them. We want to talk to them again. We were at my house now; we left the shops because we were just buying everything we wanted since we were so happy about meeting the Janoskians well Beau and Skip anyway. I look over at Ricki. “Aw, Rhiannon. I have to go, mum is coming to get me,” she explains. “Really? We had the best day today! We will talk later?” I say unhappily. I walk Ricki outside and wave her goodbye. I just was about to go back inside when mum arrived home. “Hi mother,” I say. “Hey Ri, did Ricki just leave?” mum asks.
“Yes, she just left.”
“So, how was shopping?” Mum asks as we walked inside.
“It was amazing. Guess who we meet?”
“Who?”
“I said guess. Anyway Ricki and I met two of the Janoskians!” I scream, still thinking it’s a dream.
“Oh, them boys you told me about last night?” Mum says not happy.
“Yes. It was the best thing ever.”
“Rhiannon, I don’t want you hanging out with these boys.” Mum says fiercely.
“What is wrong with the Janoskians?” I yell.
“The Janoskians are gay,” William interrupts. William is my brother, Whitney twin.
“Shut up, Will. How would you know that anyway?” I say angrily.
“I don’t want any of you to interact with the Janoskian. I do not like the things people are saying about them. Rhiannon, do not talk to the Janoskians again. And that is final.” Mum shouts.
I march in to my room, slamming my door. I think, ‘What is mums problem?’ I am so angry at Mum. The Janoskians were so nice to us today. I just lay on my bed, confused, sad, and angry. One of the best days ever was ruined by my mum.
Ricki’s POV
On the way home from Rhiannon house I filled in mum on what’s happened. “Mum, you would believe what happened today! Ricki and I met the Janoskians.”
“Who are the Jeokins?” Mum say lost.
“Ah, mum. It is the Jan-osk-i-ans. And they are a group of boys who make hilarious YouTube videos. They are from Melbourne and Rhiannon and I met them while we were shopping!” I say so happy.
“Okay, Jan-os- ki-ans. That’s pretty cool Ricki.”
“It was amazing!” I scream as I walk inside.
I go to my room and lay on my bed, just thinking about Skip. Last night I was thinking about how funny they are and that we just started watching their videos, and now I have Beau’s and Skip’s number. Right now, I don’t think life could be any better.
I go for a shower and come back to my room. *Beep-beep* It probably just Rhiannon talking about Beau. I look at my phone and scream. It says ‘(1) New Message – Beau’ I quickly open and read the message. ‘Hey, do you girls want to come over tonight?’ I start screaming again and text Rhiannon, ‘Ri, did Beau text you to?x’ I hope Rhiannon wants to go. Of course she will. *Ring-Ring* I answer my phone.
Me: Hello.
Ri: Hey Ricki. Yes I got the text.
Me: So, are we going? Wait what’s wrong? You don’t sound excited.
Ri: I am really sorry but I can’t go.
Me: What!
Ri: Mum doesn’t want me to talk to the boys anymore. Mum doesn’t like them. I really want to go but.
Me: What the hell is wrong with your mum! You have to come. I can’t go by myself.
Ri: I thought the same thing. She will kill me if I went to their house.
Me: Wait! I have an idea.
Ri: OMG, this isn’t good. Haha.
Me: It is either brilliant or stupid. So what if you come to my house soon, we go to their house tonight and then after you sleepover at my house. Your mum will never know.
Ri: RICKI! You are so smart. Wait, your mum won’t tell my mum will she?
Me: I will explain everything to her, she wont. So, you go ask you mum? Then text me and then I can tell my mum and beau, okay?
Ri: Sounds like a plan. Bye.
Me: Bye.
*5 minutes later*
*Beep-Beep* ‘Mum said yes along with a lecture not to talk to the boys. See you soon?x’ – Rhiannon. I text back, then explain to mum everything.
“So, Ri’s mum won’t let her see the Janoskians again.” Mum says surprised.
“No. So Ri is coming over soon and staying over tonight after we get home from the Janoskians house. But you can’t tell her Mum we are going to the Janoskians house. She will kill us.” I explain.
“So, I just say the girls stayed here all night? Nothing about the Janoskians.” Mum assures.
“Awwh, you’re the best. I love you mum.” I say hugging her. I quickly go text Beau and tell him we can come.
Beau’s POV
After we meet those 2 girls at the mall, I could stop thinking about them especially Rhiannon. Skip likes the other one Ricki. Once Jai, Luke and James find us we tell about the two girls. They all seemed interested in meeting the girls. Skip and I have their numbers but I don’t know about asking them over. They probably think we are weird after today and aren’t fans anymore.
*Later that afternoon*
“Oi Beau. Ask the girls to come over tonight,” Skip says. “Why don’t you? Too nervous, because you like Ricki,” I tease. “Shut up Beau! Ricki is hot as though,” Skip yells. I text the girls asking if they want to come over. “Rhiannon is hot too.” I add, hinting that I like her. “Okay. And they are coming here.” Skip says. “So, you actually asked the girls over?” Luke asks. “Yes, is that a probably?” I ask. “No, I want to meet them.” Luke answers.
Not long after I get a text back. ‘Rhiannon is staying over at my house. We will come over later tonight? ‘I tell everyone that they are coming and text back ‘cool see you soon.’ *Ring-Ring*
Mw: Hello?
Girls: Just wondering when we come over where do we go?
Me: Oh you don’t know where we live.
*Beep-Beep-Beep* Call-end.
I text her ‘some connection thing happened. We live at ----------. Come over soon.’ She reply’s saying ‘okay. Cool. See you later.’
I sit there think if these girls actually like. I wonder what will happen tonight when then come over. And when they meet the other boys.
