Me and Riker started walking back to thier house. I told him how Ross has screamed at me about Layla. My, self harming, he was more surprised than anything. ''I actually hate that girl. That's all our family ever talks about. How nice she is.It's just bullshit'' he finished. I just nodded. My best friend had actually believed his girlfriend over me. ''I'll kick his ass'' he started again. ''It doesn't matter anyway now, we're over'' I sighed. ''You guys have been best friends, since I can remember'' Riker said to me. ''I know that Riker, and-and'' I knew I was about to cry again, as I tried to hold it in. ''Don't cry for my stupid ass brother, Laura'' he looked up at me. ''Everything's going to be ok''. I took in his words, we walked for about ten minutes before arriving at the house. We entered their house when, Rydel, Ross's older sister looked to me, and asked Riker what was going on. Riker and Rydel went out of the room for a while before coming back in. That's when I recieved a call from my mother, saying she was going out of town, that I had to stay with Stormie and Mark. I really don't know how that is actually going to work.....
A while later when Stormie came home, I had been sitting with Rydel for a while. ''Ah, Laura. Looks like you're going to be staying with us for a while'' she smiled. I liked Stormie, she was really nice and also my mother's best friend. ''I guess so'' I said, putting on a smile. I don't want her getting worried, Stormie was like a second mother to me, so I knew how she'd react. Later on Ryland, Rocky and Mark had arrived home, but there was no sign of Ross. Wait, why the hell did I care? He screamed at me. I should hate him right now. Half an hour has passed, I went back home to collect my things before arriving back, just in time for tea.
I entered the house with my suitcase to see Ross and Layla sitting there. Looking at them made me eyes burn, I turned away and wiped my eyes. I hated seeing them together, laughing. Riker came in to the living room, rolling his eyes and helping me with my suitcase. ''I'll help you with that Laura'' he smiled, I returned one back. That's when Ross and Layla looked up at me, I could see them in the corner of my eye. I was about to head with Riker upstairs with the rest of the cases, when Ross arose from where he was sitting. He started, in a harsh tone, pointing at me, while Layla glared to me. ''What is she doing here, Riker?'' he asked, looking directly at me. ''She's staying with us, Ross''. Riker looked back at Ross and shook his head. ''I'll talk to you later'' he finished before following me upstairs. As me and Riker went upstairs, I could just hear Layla and Ross downstairs, saying hurtful things about me. I felt as if I was going to burst in to tears, then and there. Riker touched my shoulder. ''Don't worry, once she's gone. Then we'll talk to him. You can stay away from the argument if you'd like?'' he asked me. ''No, I need to be in this, Riker. Please'' I said when I finally reached the top of the stairs.
At 6:30 it was time for dinner, when Stormie called us from downstairs. I slowly headed down the stairs. At the table seated, Stormie and Mark, then Rydel, Riker, and Ryland and Rocky sitting on the other side. Then I looked to Layla and Ross sitting together, I just rolled me eyes. Riker hinted me to sit by him, so that's what I did. I fake smiled at Stormie, I did'nt want to make her feel like I did'nt appreciate it. ''Oh, you're here'' Ross turned to me. I just scoffed, and sat by Riker. I saw that Riker and Ross exchanged a few glances, and a huge smirk on Layla's face. I was getting so annoyed, but I tried to keep my cool. Rydel looked at me, to hint if I was ok, I gave her a slight nod. ''So, Laura.'' Stormie started. I looked to her. Before she could start again, Layla said ''I don't think, this is uh...safe for me to be in the same room as Laura''. Thanks a bunch Layla, just what I needed. ''Stop causing shit'' Rydel said, looking at her empty plate. ''Rydel!'' Mark said, looking directly at her. ''Sorry'' she said. ''It's the truth though'' Riker said, also adding in. Stormie looked straight at Layla. I saw Ross, shaking his head at me. ''Why would that be Layla?'' Stormie asked her calmly. Riker could tell I was getting annoyed by her, my arms were shaking and my face was going bright red. Before Layla could say what she was going to say, I stood up dramatically. Stormie, Mark, Ross and the others were taken aback. My chair was against the wall. ''I can't deal with this anymore, Layla'' I started to cry, before I ran out of the room, and upstairs.
''Rydel go check on Laura, please?'' Stormie said. ''I was going to, anyway'' Rydel said glaring at Layla. Riker left to, leaving Rocky, Ryland, Stormie and Mark, totally confused. ''I'll explain'' Ross said. Stormie and Mark looked directly at him. Time had passed and Laura still was upstairs, Ross had finshed his long speech about Layla and Laura. ''I think you should leave, Layla'' Mark said. ''Wait, no it's not even her fault'' Ross said. ''Now, Ross. Please show Layla out'' Stormie finshed. ''That sounds nothing like Laura, it can't be true'' Rocky said. ''Laura's harmless, she would'nt hurt a fly'' Ryland finshed. Stormie and Mark sat there nodding.
After Ross had showed Layla out that's when Laura, Riker and Rydel appeared from upstairs.
