A/N Definitely going to be mature content in this one but not straight away i like to set the scene first

"ENOUGH!" bellowed Tony jumping up from the head breakfast table, agitatedly rubbing the throbbing vein at his temple.

The room froze in response, it wasn't often Tony kicked off and it was never good when he did.

Somehow, and Jamie wasn't sure exactly how, world war 3 had broken out over coffee and toast. She had frozen in place when Tony shouted, breathing hard with a murderous look on her face.

Her Left hand was leaning heavily on the table, her right foot raised and placed on the chair behind, poised to leap over the table. Nat was stood to her right, a matching expression harshly etched across her features. She too was leaning on and over the table and was up until 3 seconds ago screaming expletives in Russian across the table.

Loki was baring his teeth, snarling at the three women from the other side of the table. Though currently preoccupied with trying to shrug Thor from his shoulder, he was nonetheless keeping a close eye on Wanda stood to Jamie's left, her hands glowing red with temper. Her hand was outstretched, pointing accusatorily at the raven-haired trickster, while also shouting at Vision to let go of her arm, as he attempted to calm her down.

Bruce had long since left the room, hands over his ears, bumping into a shocked Steve on his way out. The super soldier now stood in the kitchen doorway, mouth-hanging open slightly and eyes wide as he took in the scene before him.

Sam stood behind the counter, coffee in hand, grinning widely at the chaos evolving over breakfast, hoping to see Loki get a taste of his own medicine for a change.

Clint and Bucky on the other hand sat at the other end of the table from Tony, unmoved by either the drama in front of them or Tony's sudden outburst. They simply continued to demolish their breakfasts, watching everyone else as if they were a mildly interesting Television show.

"I have had just about enough of you two behaving like squabbling children" Tony ground out, glaring at Loki and Jamie in turn.

Jamie kicked her chair behind her, it hit the wall with a crunch "That's not fair he started... " she began to shout outraged.

"I DON'T CARE WHO STARTED IT!" Tony yelled going red in the face "This. Has. To. Stop! Now, both of you apologise" Tony demanded, as if talking to a pair of toddlers in the throes of a tantrum.

Jamie folded her arms over her chest in defiance, scowling at Tony, her chest heaving and shook her head "Never"

Tony looked to Loki who curled his lip at the Billionaire snarling, "What do I care for the problems of mere mortals" Thor groaned slapping a hand to his face "Why Brother..."

"FINE!" Tony shouted, beyond aggravated "FINE! You brought this on yourselves, come with me!" he stomped towards the door, turning as he reached it noting that neither Jamie not Loki had shifted so much as a muscle "MOVE!" He barked.

Loki smiled sweetly crossing his arms over his chest, mirroring Jamie's stiff posture "Make me" he challenged, with a raised eyebrow, Jamie smirked despite herself.

A heavy hand landed painfully on Loki's shoulder "It would be my pleasure Brother" Loki twisted looking into the face of a grim and determined Thor.

Sighing heavily , Loki moved to follow, though Jamie stayed rooted in place "I don't think so" she ground out through gritted teeth, shooting a daring look at Thor "Wanna make me too?"

She knew full well that Thor would never raise a hand against her.

Tony strode back into the room stopping inches in front of Jamie's face, so close she could feel his breath fanning her face as he threatened her "If you don't do as you're told you're benched, indefinitely!"

Her mouth fell open shocked "You can't do that!" Looking round the man in front of her, she caught Steve's eyes from across the room, seeking support. Steve sighed wearily "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with Tony"

All eyes swivelled to the Captain, even Tony spun on his heel smiling deviously "Well finally"

Steve shook his head, admitting that had clearly cost him a lot "It's not good for the team having you at each other's throats, clearly it just drags everyone else into your drama" he pointed out waving his hand to indicate the chaos around her "Please Jamie you have to try" he pleaded.

Jamie glowered at him, turning to look at the God by the door who was smiling serenely at her, how she hated that man and his smug face.

"Fine" she muttered defeated following Tony and Loki out the door.

They trudged in silence to the elevator, riding it to the basement and heading into the holding cells "What are we doing down here Tony?" Jamie asked breaking the silence at last.

Tony slammed his fist on the button embedded in the wall causing the far cell door to slide open "You two need a time out, in!" he responded sharply.

"You're kidding?" Jamie stated, rather than asked.

"Don't make me tell you again" Tony ground out motioning with his head to the cell door.

Huffing she walked inside sinking down onto the cold floor, elbows on her knees. Loki didn't move, a calculating look on his face as he regarded the enraged man before him.

"I refuse to be caged like an animal" he said quietly, glinting green eyes not leaving Tony's for a second.

Tony smirked at him "In the cell Reindeer games or Thor's taking you back to Asguard where we'll let Daddy deal with you"

Loki narrowed his eyes at the low blow "You wouldn't?"

"Try me" challenged Tony, with an accompanying shit eating grin gracing his face.

Loki looked down at Jamie hunched down on the floor, who just shrugged at him in response rolling her eyes.

Without another word, he walked into the cell slumping down on the floor opposite his opponent. Raising one knee up he dangled an him arm over it, resigned.

The cell door slammed shut, the glass walls turning opaque, obscuring Tony from view. His disembodied voice announced to the room at large "I've turned the cameras off, fight to the death or find a way to co-exist peacefully, right now I don't really care which... I'll come and let you out in 3 hours, start talking"

The sound shut off abruptly leaving them in silence, Jamie glared at the God across the room, this was entirely his fault.

Things had been just fine before Thor had brought him to the Avengers, with the aim of straightening him out. Jamie had hated him from the start though, she couldn't get past his arrogance, daddy complex and the complete lack of remorse he demonstrated over the mess he made in New York a couple of years back.

Despite this she'd tried to be civil, but the God had taken an instant disliking to her as well. He never failed to point out when a mistake was made in training and constantly undermined her on missions. It hadn't taken long for Jamie to get sick of it and snap, since then it had been all out war resulting in shouting matches over a snarky comment during breakfast.
