Abruptly the cell door slid open with a bang, the glass turning transparent once again. Jamie and Loki shot apart still breathing hard, scrambling for their clothes only to belated realise there was no one behind the door.

Jamie quickly slipped into her jeans and T-shirt, checking her watch, it hadn't even been 2 hours. The intercom crackled to life "Could you please join us in the kitchen" Tony's emotionless voice commanded.

"Come on Loki, time to go" she muttered, chucking his T-shirt at his face after retrieving it from the floor, chuckling as she hit her target.

He retaliated by slapping her behind so hard she jumped, squealing as they exited the cell, a wide grin across his face at the noise.

Arriving back at the kitchen as instructed, they were greeted by a curious scene. The entire team was grouped around the table in silence, something unheard of when they were all together.

"Ummm... Guys everything ok?" Jamie started, slowly all eyes swivelled to her except for Tony who had his head in his hands, face down on the table.

Nat stared at the pair of them open mouthed, Bruce was shaking his head at Jamie in disbelief while Clint just looked slightly queasy. Wanda leaned against Vision's shoulder with her hands clamped over her mouth, eyes wide with horror, Vision appearing simply puzzled.

Steve, on the other hand, was beetroot red even the tips of his ears, Sam and Bucky shaking with silent mirth at their friend's discomfort. Rising from the table Thor stomped down the room towards them, he seemed perplexed as he stopped in front of them, head turning back and forth between the two like a metronome "I thought you hated each other?" he finally asked.

Loki and Jamie looked at each other unsure how to respond, Loki shrugged while Jamie responded "We do"

A sudden grating of a chair as it was pushed back caught everyone's attention. Tony rose to his feet now staring directly at the pair of them, a horrified look plastered across his face "Oh yeah? Then explain this" he said pointing at the TV on the wall and tapping a button on his watch.

It burst into life, a vivid image of the holding cell dancing before Jamie's horrified eyes, her screams of pleasure echoing throughout the room.

"Oh god not again" Clint stated weakly, ducking out the room rapidly to be sick.

Loki gritted his teeth and glared at Tony "I thought the cameras were off Stark"

"I lied "Tony returned smoothly, shrugging.

"How could you?" breathed Nat, trying somewhat unsuccessfully not to laugh.

"For God's sake Tony! Turn it off" shouted Steve over a particularly loud groan from the TV, having gone if possible, an even more delicate shade of pink than before.

Tony tapped another button on his watch as the screen froze on a close up of their rapturous faces.

Jamie started to giggle nervously, suddenly finding this entire situation utterly ridiculous. Loki looked sideways at her raising an eyebrow, his lips twitching up into a smile.

"I believe there is a Midguardian saying that would appear to be quite appropriate at this juncture... something about there being a fine line between love and Hate" he offered, chuckling at the teams discomfort.

The giggles finally subsiding, Jamie clutched her sides "Oh come on, what's the matter? You got what you wanted" she gasped at Tony, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"Excuse me?" Tony questioned, baffled by how lightly she was taking this situation.

"You said find a way to co-exist and we have, so you've no one to blame but yourself" Jamie trailed off turning to wiggle her eyebrows suggestively at Loki "Now where were we pet?"

Loki grinned in response, pulling her into his chest and crashing his lips to hers with abandon.

The entire team groaned "Get a room!" shouted Clint from the doorway, having just returned.

Loki broke the kiss and inclined his head towards the pale archer "As you wish"

Winking at his brother's stunned face, the two of them disappeared in a flash of green light.

Steve groaned again "Dammit Stark! I think I preferred it when they were fighting" Tony couldn't help but agree, his head sinking back down onto the table.
