Chapter 2: Evelyn Evelyn

Before the jump: Day 2

Akuma held the orb close, cracks all over the once beautiful blue orb pieces of the glass orb were missing. Akuma stared at the orb, she kept seeing her brother's kidnapping. She buried her face into the orb and cried. Ruku watched as she leaned on thin air. "Are you still crying Akuma?!?" Ruku snapped at her sister. Akuma jumped up and glared at Ruku. "YOU ALMOST MADE ME DROP THE ORB!" Akuma yelled at Ruku. Ruku grabbed Akuma by the ear, causing Akuma to start whining like a dog as her sister dug her claws into Akuma's ear. Akuma's ear started bleeding heavily, Akuma screamed and cried as her ear felt like it was being ripped right off her head. Akuma begged Ruku to let go of her ear. "SHUT THE BLOODY HELL UP RUNT!" Ruku yelled at Akuma. Suddenly a shadowy figure loomed over Ruku. Ruku gulped and looked behind her, it was her boss. Her boss was tall and slim, he was some sort of fox shadow, he had ruby red eyes that were staring right at Ruku and Akuma. "Ruku, Akuma.....You realize I can't work if you two keep fighting!" His voice was deep but smooth. The girls knew better than to think he's not mad, they knew he was beyond mad....he was PISSED! "S-Soul sir we'r-" Ruku was cut off by Soul, "Ruku, You know better than to call me by name!" Soul spoke in a strict tone. Soul grabbed both girls by their ears and dragged them. Both girls were scared and were squirming. Soul stopped at a mirror, he threw both girls at the mirror. The mirror led to a small cellular like room with two beds, a vanity, and a nightstand with a lamp on it. The girls fell down getting all sorts of scrapes and bruises. "You two can come out when I say!" Soul said poking his head through the wall before leaving. Ruku got up and started banging on the wall....it was solid.....Ruku fell to her knees, defeated.....Akuma sat next to Ruku, Ruku grabbed Akuma by the neck and threw her across the room. Akuma hit the wall and started to bleed from her head. Ruku rolled her light pink eyes and sat in one of the beds. Akuma stayed there, she started to speak....."Hey, Ruku....Why do we bother to stay?...." Ruku looked at Akuma "Why? Are you running away?" Akuma continued "Don't you feel like ending it all? We'd all be together at last...." Ruku then spoke again "We're broken we don't want to stay.....We grew up in a broken home...." Akuma stared crying "More broken than glass, More broken than porcelain...." The girls sat in silence, until Ruku spoke... "A demon needs a host!" Akuma snapped "I'M ONLY TRYING TO SAVE THE REST OF US!" Ruku tackled Akuma "WELL I'M NOT ASKING YOU! I AM TELLING YOU! YOU NEED TO GROW RIGHT OUT OF THIS PHASE!" "Look, into my eyes....I'm telling you-" "WELL YOUR JUST IGNORANT! YOU JUST NEED TO LISTEN AND STOP REBELLING! YOU JUST NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR BOSS THAT'S WHAT AN IRONS SHOULD DO!!" Ruku let Akuma go...."Hey, Akuma.......You should know better then to rebel....." Ruku said before going to sleep...... Akuma sat in a corner and cried herself to sleep that night. Akuma drifted into her dream....She dreamt of seeing her parents, her "dad" hitting her little brother.....Akuma couldn't scream for him to stop cause her mouth was covered by her older brother Yuki while her eldest sister held her back....Suddenly Ruku stepped in and tackled her "dad". Their "dad" grabbed a kitchen knife and cut all over Ruku's face until she backed off. She held her face in pain. Akuma bit Yuki's hand and screamed "RUKU!" She somehow was able to run over to Ruku. Their "dad" was disgusted and grabbed Akuma by her arm and dragged her to the kitchen, then grabbed rubbing alcohol and an acetone mixture and poured it in Akuma's left eye. Akuma screamed and cried as the liquid was being poured into her eye, her "dad" was about to pour it into her right eye he was stopped by Akuma's mother.....Mira.... "Akuma! Run now!" Mira yelled. Akuma ran followed by Yuki and Ruku. Akuma's eldest sister stayed to help her little brother......Akuma noticed this and tried running back but was held back by Yuki. Suddenly everything went black. Akuma sat up "MYA! SHAWN!" Akuma screamed as she sat up screaming.......It was only a dream......
