Chapter 4: The jump

The jump:

Akuma inched closer and closer to the edge as her eyes welled up with tears. Akuma soon didn't feel the ground on her feet instead, felt the pressure of the wind on her back. "AKUMA!" Someone screamed as Akuma kept falling, the moon growing smaller and smaller as her face got wet with tears. As Akuma closed her eyes, closer and closer she got to the bottom. Suddenly she felt something or someone, catch her?.. She opened her eyes to see her boss, Soul....His ruby red eyes being the only thing that could tell her that it was him. They were suddenly back on top of the cliff, far away from the edge of the cliff. Soul set Akuma down, Akuma's eyes and face were wet with tears. Soul looked at her as if asking, 'Why the fuck would you do that?!' Akuma looked back at Soul and began to cry again. Soul, surprisingly; wrapped his arms around her and gave her a hug. Akuma hugged back, burying her face into his chest. After a minute or two, Akuma stopped crying and fell asleep. Soul picked her up and made a portal 'home'. Once they got 'home' Ruku immediately ran over and snatched Akuma out of Souls arms and holds her sister close as she cries. Soul tried to calm Ruku down but only got a growl, "Stay.Away.From.My.SISTER!....." Ruku growled. Soul stepped back, shocked. Ruku began to curse out Soul before he yelled back "SHE ONLY JUMPED BECAUSE OF YOU RUKU!". Ruku stared at Soul as her arms slowly became loose and let Akuma slowly fall, Soul thankfully caught her again and held her close. Soul looked down at Akuma's cat-like face for a moment.....Akuma's face was pressed against Souls fluffy chest, being almost completely covered by his black fur. Soul sighed as he picked her up and walked away with Akuma in his arms, he walked down a long hallway until he reached a large wooden door painted blue-grey and had deer painted with silver and gold paint. Soul chuckled at the memory of Akuma wishing for her door to her room to be painted the way it was. As if the door was magic, it opened to reveal Akuma's room which was decorated in extremely girly objects. Soul set Akuma down on her bed, he picked up a pastel blue blanket with black embroidery and white trimming and covered Akuma's scarred up body with it. Soul began to walk out the room, when suddenly he heard a small voice. It sounded like it was saying "Thank you...", Soul looked in the direction of the voice to see Akuma turned over on the bed to look at him. Soul smiled slightly as he walked out the door to Akuma's bedroom. Valerie was waiting outside the door, leaning on the wall with a neutral look on her face, her glance to seem dazed. "How is she?" Valerie asked, surprising Soul. "She's okay, she's just sleeping..." Soul replied as he began to walk off. "You're scared to lose her, huh?" Valerie asked, stopping Soul right in his tracks. Soul's fox-like ears flopped down, his stern eyes softened and he looked down as small tears welled up in his ruby red eyes. He sighed, "I think we're all scared to l-lose Akuma." Soul said before continuing to walk away..

Oh, my gosh...FINALLY!! This chapter is finished! I really hope you all like it, I'm really sorry for not updating. I've been struggling with motivation, A LOT! I hope I can update more often!
