Seeing things No one else sees.

Samantha's Pov...

Mountain Valley High-school. Worse than middle-school a literal prison. Bars on the windows, trackers implanted into every student. A place that held more ghosts literally and figuratively. Mountain Valley High is not your average run of the mill High-school. It is the place where the freaks, outcasts, and misfits were tossed aside by society. Many students died here for unknown reasons. I unfortunately for some reason am able to speak and see these students souls.

I sighed as I made my way to my dorm room, which I fortunately had to myself. Every girl that had been my room-mate died a few days later in their sleep from "Natural Causes.' At first the teachers blamed me, but there was always a "hidden medical condition" that was soon blamed for the mysterious deaths.

I unlocked and opened my door to the room before walking in and turning around seeing as the light was already on. Only to be met with a tall brunette girl who was wearing a silver jacket with a small tiara on her head. She smiled which I awkwardly returned. She set the book that she was reading down before standing up from the bed that she was sitting on.

"Hi my name is Sunny Lorain. What's your name?'She asked tilting her head as she stuck her hand out for me to shake. I nodded raising an eyebrow confused. She cleared her throat before pulling her hand back after realizing that I wasn't going to shake it. "I'm your new room-mate. Nice to meet you.'

"I'm Samantha Mornea, but call me Sam or Sammy.'

 I have always been the quiet type, I naturally avoided people and never took any pictures. I looked in the corner and saw Charlie Underwood my last room-mate who had died in her sleep from a seizure. She shrugged before disappearing. I turned my attention back to Sunny who was looking at me confused.I smiled awkwardly before grabbing my things from where I had dropped them, I then went and put them away before putting my long black hair up in a bun before laying down. 

After a moment I heard Sunny leave the room, I looked over and saw Charlie return. I smiled at her as she walked over and sat down, the area in front of me dropping in temperature as she did. She stared at me for a moment with Silver bloodshot eyes, her bright neon green hair an eerie contrast to her light blue skin. Her Pink shirt said "I Was Human Once' was covered in fake blood.

"What?' I asked confused as she gave me a look of pure fear.

"Something is going to happen Sammy. Something big, dangerous and scary. Before I died I was supposed to give you a message, we didn't meet by accident. I was sent by Chiron. There is something you need to know.' Her words are cut off as Sunny ran in slamming the door shut, and pushing the dresser in front of it. 

She was covered in cuts, glass and she was soaked in water. She turned to face me and Charlie.

"Hades underpants. Sammy grab your things and get ready to leave!' She began shoving things back into her bag as she pressed a button on her silver watch causing a bright flash seconds later a large black bow was in her hand, a silver quiver on her back. I gaped before jumping as something big and heavy slammed into the door. "Do it now! Charlie help her!' 

I was in too much shock at the time to notice that she was able to see Charlie.

Charlie nodded and began helping me shove things into my bag before pushing me to the window. I opened it before looking at the ground which was two stories down. 

"I'll die if I try to go out that way.' I yelled, before flinching as the door began to break, causing Sunny to start shooting arrows at the creature which I realized was a Chimera.

"Sorry Sammy.' Charlie mumbled before pushing me out the window. I let out a cry of shock as i was weightless for a few seconds before the snow covered earth raced up to meet me. I hit the snow drift and a loud pop came from my ankle hitting the ground followed by the rest of my body. My head cracked painfully against the ground and I saw spots. I sat up putting a hand to my head looking up at my window seeing Charlie drop to the ground followed by Sunny who had jumped out and landed much better than I had.

"Hey!' I heard a males voice speak from the side and I looked over and saw two blurry figures come towards me, before the shadows returned. My eyes rolled back as I passed out.

"Good job squirrel brains.' I heard someone mumble before everything else slipped away.
