This is a longer chapter but there's a lot going on and I'm getting so hyped because I've been so inspired to write recently! I have so many ideas I had to jot them down now otherwise I'll just forget if another comes along.
That's why a lot is happening in this chapter and why it took so looong!
It's setting up for what's to come ;)

No rush :)
~•~KIM'S POV
I poke my head over Jane's head and let out a heavy breath. Only 5 people are standing between us and passing a folder that will pave our futures. Great, no pressure. I've been jittery about it all morning, but not as much as now! I'm hiding it well though. I think.
But I had no idea what conversation is taking place. I swear, Kennedy was just telling Jane and Jacky about the time she threw up in Clarence's mom's very expensive porcelain vase, but it's different now.
"Wait, is your photo story in this teeny tiny envelop?" Kennedy asks cluelessly, pointing at Jane's envelop. "Jane it's not gonna fit in here!"
Kennedy snorts and Jane rolls her eyes, "No! If you think I'm cramming all my hard work in this tiny folder, you've lost your mind. We're passing it online. Let's be real. Hey, speaking of," Jane slaps my arm lightly to get my attention. "Where are you with that?"
And then all eyes are on me. When I got home last Saturday, I couldn't sleep. I stayed up until early morning to brainstorm, and arrived late for work too which... didn't make Claudia happy. But I did come up with something, and I think it's going to be amazing!
Unless it's executed poorly, and I'll just kiss my photography dreams goodbye. Or any dream in media for that matter.
"Earth to Kimberly," Jane taps my forehead, making me flinch. She laughs, turning to Jacky who also looks very distracted. "What is up with you guys today? You're not with us."
"Hey, I'm listening." Jacky says. I mean, she has been very quiet since we started lining up in front of the admin.
"I was just thinking," I reason, and they're eyes train on me again. Drats. "And Yes, I do know what to do."
There were only 2 people in front of us so I explained it very quickly. Jane's messaged me all weekend, and pestered me all day when we were working so as I explained, her eyes lit up like Christmas lights! She's been waiting for this, and I take that as a good sign, because if Jane thinks it's great, it must be!
When I finish, it was our turn at the window. We hand our applications and I let out a deep breath I was holding. Honestly, it was like a weight off my shoulders, though I'm not holding on too much hope for two schools in particular in that folder. But now that that's out of the way, there's only one more college left, and it's the big one!
"It's not completely polished yet!" I point out as we walk away from the window because Jane's getting too excited.
Jane exclaims, "Oh, what's the difference! We already know it's going to be bomb!"
