For awhile there the only thing I felt was sadness.
I would put a smile on because that is what people wanted to see.
At work, at home, or out with friends, all I felt was nothing.
Until one day the most Beautiful person came across my screen.
When I first laid my eyes upon her angelic features there was something relit inside of me.
In my heart a fire was kindled, a fire that had not burned in an age.
Her Olive eyes that turned to the purest of jade in the sun.
Her smile, so powerful it could make the earth stop.
The way she looked into the camera, as if she could see my soul, made my heart skip a beat.
She, in all her glory, is God's greatest creation.
All these things felt, with only seeing a picture.
You could only imagine my suprise when I was able to lay my eyes upon her in the flesh for the first time.
In the moments leading to that faithful sight, a million thoughts raced through my mind.
"What if she decides she doesn't want to do this? What if I make a fool of myself? What if I am not the person I want to be for her?"
And then, all at once, she was in front of me.
With that first look, All thought left my mind and all that remained was Her.
The way her hair fell on her face, the dimple in her smile, the way she said, "Hello."
Who knew that one simple word could be so powerful.
With that First word the small flame that smoldered in my heart erupted!
The once glowing embers exploded into a raging inferno that had once led men into battle.
In that moment the world was lost to me.
I felt as if I could stare into her eyes for eternity.
She became the moon and the stars.
She was the sun that radiated its warmth to fuel the earth.
She was my breath, which seemed to have escaped me.
All else faded away and the only thing that mattered was Her.
Because of one word uttered with the voice of an angel, I, I was human again
No longer was I the heartless golem that wandered the earth looking for his heart.
After many a year I felt again and I felt everything
