Theres the literary expression: spitful glares, this is used to show how one person dislikes another. However that being said, 'spitful glares' would be a colossal understatement for how the archangels were looking at the demons from across the rotting, dark oak table.

They looked up to put faces on the penultrating stares they had felt since entering the room. But to their utmost suprise, Gabriel hadn't been one of them. Instead he was... smiling.
A soft, sincere, sweet smile.
Sweet things usually made Beelzebub gag, but they found themselves blushing slightly instead.
