"FUCK" I yelled while throwing myself onto the couch and screaming into the pillow next to me

My mom ran in and asked me what happened

"I can't find my stupid fucking Air Force 1's" I screamed into the pillow

She laughed loudly causing me to jerk my head to where she was standing, "what's so funny?" I snapped

She laughed again before pointing to the shoe pile next to the door

I slowly turned my head and BAM! There they were. At the very top.

I jumped off the couch and ran to the pile of shoes, quickly taking the Air Force one's and kissing them repeatedly

My mom playfully rolled her eyes before walking back into her room.

I ran up the stairs to continue getting ready.

Oh shit! I forgot to introduce myself, sorry!

My name's Emma Francis Chamberlain. I currently live in Los Angeles with my Mom. We moved here from SanFran 2 years ago, after my dad died, because my mom wanted a fresh start, and ngl so did I.

I'm 16 which means, today is my first day of Junior year.
Am I excited? Surprisingly, yes.

Reason? Because my best friends, Ellie And Hannah.

I quickly threw on my clothes, a simple white crop top and shorts, and of course, my Air Force 1's.

I ran out of my room, grabbed my keys and phone, while yelling a quick 'bye' to my mom, before running out of the house to my car.

I listened to Rex Orange County and tapped my finger on the wheel to the beat.

I pulled into the school and parked in my usual parking spot.

It's almost funny how no one parks here because they know if they do I'll go the fucc off.

I stepped out of the car and rushed up behind Ellie to scare her because her back was facing me, what else do you expect me to do? Hug her? Ha.

"BOO!" I yelled while jumping on her back causing us both to fall in the grass

She screamed as I went into hysterics

Everyone that was outside stared at us as I continued to laugh loudly
"Haha. Very funny." She rolled her eyes playfully, and got up from the ground, offering me a hand, which I gratefully took.

Once we both dusted ourselves off she brought me into a hug

"Nice to see you again too, bitch" she said as she pulled away from the hug

I laughed as we headed to the schools front entrance

"How was your summer?" I asked while opening my locker

"Amazing, duh! I spent it with Hannah" she playfully rolled her eyes as I just plainly rolled mine

We can never have a conversation that doesn't include her saying how much she loves Hannah.
I don't care, but I don't want to constantly hear "I hung out with Hannah and ohhh my godddd, she snorted milk through her nose HAHAHAHAHAHA", it gets annoying.

"Nice" I dragged out

There was an awkward silence between us and all that I could hear was the constant chatter of gossip and 'tea'

But suddenly everyone was quiet.. like COMPLETELY silent.

I turned around to look at everyone, but they were all looking at the same thing.

Of course. Ethan, Cameron, Aaron, and Nate.

The schools "Bad Boys"

Just because they talk back to the teacher, skip school, smoke weed, and go to parties, they're 'Bad Boys'.

Yeah well I do all of those things except smoke and I'm not what you call a 'bad girl'

I rolled my eyes and started to walk to my first period.

The next thing I know, Ethan and his little Clique are right in front of me.

"What?" I asked, obviously annoyed

"You know that favor you owe me?" Ethan asked while smirking

I rolled my eyes,
"I don't 'owe' you shit."

"I saved your ass from getting suspended . You best believe you owe me." He responded

"What do you want?" I put my hand on my hip, looking him in the eyes

"Break up with Olivia for me." He said back, looking me in the eyes as well

"Are you THAT much of a damn pussy?" I shook my head

"No, I just don't want to waste my time talking to her" he shrugged
"So you talk to me?" I challenge

He rolled his eyes, "just fuckin do it."

"Whatever" I walked away to go find Olivia

She was standing by her locker on her phone.
I've never really talked to her, but I know she's a sweet girl who definitely doesn't deserve this.

"Hey Olivia?" I slowly walked up to her, Ethan watching me from his locker

"Hi!" She smiled at me

I gave her a small smile back

"I'm really sorry to say this. You really don't deserve this. Ethan wants to break up with you" I looked down

"Oh." She nodded her head, looking Into the distance

Her eyes started to water, and I pulled her Into a hug, which she accepted

"I'm so sorry. He told me to tell you. He's a fucking coward, you can do so much better than him." I truthfully said

She nodded her head, "I saw it coming"

I saw Ethan smirking from the corner of my eye.
He's such a prick.

I know Ellie, Hannah, and Emma don't talk anymore, but this is when Emma was 16 so go with it ig🤷🏼‍♀️
