An Unusual Friendship

The Swim

Midoriya POV

  "Hi, Midoriya..um...Uraraka asked me to go swimming with her and the class. I was wondering if you would like to come to?" Todoroki said to me as class ended.

  "Sure! I'd love to come!" I answered his question as I started to pack my bag. "I'll see you guys at the pool." I finished.

   "Cool, I'll see you there" He then walked out of the class as I followed after him.

At the pool

  I walked to the pool as fast as I could. Uraraka had told me that most of the class and busy so it was only me, Todoroki, her, and Tsu who were going. Momo probably would have come if Uraraka told her that Todoroki was coming. I laughed while I thought that.

  "Hey Deku, come swim! Todoroki should be here in five minutes, he just had to stop by his locker." Uraraka informed me. "Okay, I'll be right in. I'm just gonna wait for Todoroki!" I told her.

  Just like Uraraka said, Todoroki arrives exactly five minutes later. As soon as he did I took off my shirt, a slight pink went over Todoroki's cheeks but I figured it was only cause it was hot.

An hour later

  We never actually ended up training. Todoroki never got in the pool so I ended up sitting next to him alongside the pool, my feet in the water. We talked for a while until he noticed me shiver.

  "You okay Midoriya?" Todoroki looked down at me. His usual monotone voice. "Yeah I'm fine, J-just a bit cold, the water got to me y'know?" I look up into his eyes. They are the most beautiful grey and blue I've ever seen. Wait what!? Forget I said that!

  The next thing I know Todoroki's arm is around me. My fave turns a dark red as I say, "T-Todoroki?" He tightens his grip a small bit and heats me up with his quirk. "You said you were cold" He seems to be nervous but I can't see his face so I can't tell.

  I put my head on his chest loosening into his warmth. I look over at the girls and see Uraraka spazzing out while looking at us. "Ahh! Ship! They are so cute! Todoroki and Deku sitting in a tree--" She squeals but Tsuyu cuts her off. "Calm down! You'll make them stop!" she tells Uraraka while her hands were on Uraraka's shoulders. Uraraka stops jumping and smiles at me, making me stick my tongue out at her.
