My entire body tensed as i saw the 3 cars and black limo in our schools parking lot. I couldnt move, i couldnt speak. My eyes were fixed straight ahead and i didnt blink, not once. I was aware of Hazel beside me, getting anxious when i didnt answer her. Breathing heavily it felt as though i was hyperventilating. I dont know what came over me. I dont know why i was freaking out. The cars were unfamiliar yet at the same time gave me a sense of de ja vu. All i know is that my instincts were telling me to get out of there as fast as possible. They were telling me to run hard and fast until i couldnt breathe and then to keep running. But i couldnt move, my feet were glued to the car floor and all thoughts of making it to english were completely gone from my head. A man stepped out of the limo, he was handsome in a regal sort of way. He had and angular face and a sharp nose that should have looked ugly but it suited him. He had full lips, an olive skin tone and warm brown eyes. His head turned to face us. Our eyes met and i heard my sharp intake if breath. A strange sense of familiarity overwhelmed me and he broke eye contact. Where have i seen this man before? He looked so familiar but im sure ive never met him before in my life, or have i? The thiughts swirl around in my head, too fast for me to grasp one long enough to answer it. I do know one thing, when he looked at me his face slightly resembled...... Mine. "H-Hazzzel" i say in a shaky voice, i turn to my friend and am shocked to see that the colour has drained from her face and shes shockingly pale. More so than before. She looks at me with wide eyes "L-Libby he, he l-looks l-lik-ke y-ou" her strangle voice barely got the words out and i realized that it wasnt my imagination running into overdrive. He really did look like me. "i know Haze" i say hearing the shock in my voice "i mean his face shape is different ofcourse yours is round in a cute way his was kind of, like, angular and your cheekbones are higher and your noses are different as well you have a cute girly nose while his was all sharp and serious looking and then theres your freckles i didnt see any on him then again it could be just the distance and besides yours are starting to fade and-" i decided to interrupt her ramblings "Hazel" "yea?" she replies looking vulnerable and a little bit shaking up "lets just forget it, ok?" i give her a reasurring smile "but-" "no buts" i say "on average there are 7 people in the world that look like you, its just a coincedence and besides he didnt look that much like me" she gives me a relieved smile, i know my best friend well enough to know that she was already beginning to forget his face. Swearing as i look at the time, i turn to my best friend "theres only 5 mins left of this lesson until lunch 1" "do we even bother going to class?" the mischevious Hazel was back. Giving off an exaggerated sigh i try to look resigned "i guess not" i say holding both my palms up facing her in mock defeat. She gives me one of her cheesy yet still stunning smiles as she jumps out the door. "todays pudding day" she says her eyes wide with excitement. She links her arm through mine and takes the stairs two at a time, dragging me along with her. We excitedly make our way to the cafeteria as we hear the bell ring, all thoughts our previous encounter forgotten.
