You stand in the gardens, nervously pacing back and fourth. You snap to attention when you hear footsteps approaching. Loki walks over to you, quickly pulling you into a hug. "What's wrong?" Loki pulls away from you, giving you a worried look.
You look down at the ground, hiding the tears that were threatening to fall. "Your father plans to throw me in the dungeons."
"What? Why?"
"Because he doesn't like the idea of a servant being with a prince." You say, finally letting the tears fall.
"It's because of me." Loki says, wiping your tears away even as his own threatened to spill over.
"Loki, no. None of this is your fault. Your father is right, it's not proper for a prince to love a servant" Loki reaches out to grab your hand but you step away.
"(Y/N), we can figure this out. I will talk to my father. I can fix this." Loki says, reaching out to you once again.
"It's to late for that, Loki." You say just as the guards come into view.
You give Loki a sad smile as the guards grab your arms and take you away.
A few weeks later...
You sit in your cell, watching as all the guards run towards the entrance of the dungeons. You hear the sounds of a fight and then you see Loki running towards your cell. "Loki? What're you doing here?"
"I'm going to get you some place safe. You don't deserve this." Loki says, gesturing to your cell.
You stare at him in awe as the fields around your cell drop. Loki grabs your hand and pulls you behind him. You make your way to the bifrost. When you reach the bifrost, Thor is waiting for you. "You're late brother."
"There were complications" Loki says, rolling his eyes.
You look between the two brothers and finally start to put things together. "You planned to break me out of the dungeons, what happens now?"
"The plan is to get you to Midgard, my friends there will take care of you and keep you safe." Thor says, giving you a small smile.
You smile back at him and look at Loki. "You realize this means you won't be able to see me again right?"
Loki looks at the ground and then back up at Thor. "I understand that, but I would rather never see you again than have you rot in the dungeons because of my father."
You smile and pull him into a hug. "Thank you, maybe someday we will be together again."
Loki pulls away from you with tears in his eyes and nods at Thor. Thor walk over and lays a hand on your shoulder. "It't time to go."
You look over your shoulder at Thor and nod. When you get to Midgard Thor brings you to the Avengers complex. You are greeted by Steve Rogers. "I'm Captain Steven Rogers, it's nice to meet you."
You smile. "I'm (Y/N)"
"Tony has a room set up for her." Steve says to Thor.
Thor nods and lays a hand on your shoulder. Steve smiles and shows you around the complex before showing you your room. "I must get back to Asgard. I will come and check on you as soon as I can."
You nod and pull him into a hug. "Thank you and please make sure Loki stays safe."
Thor pulls away from you, giving you a small nod before he walks out of the room. Steve walks in shortly after Thor leaves and sits next to you on your bed. "It'll be alright. Everything will work out and maybe one day you can return to Asgard."
"I wish I could but if I ever return Odin would have me executed." You say, looking down at the floor.
"Thor told me he is going to talk to your father. I'm sure everything will work out, but until then you're a part of our family." Steve says, patting you on the shoulder before getting up and walking out of the room.
