Chapter 1

Baekhyun's POV

As soon as I got home from work I was greeted by my mother who smiled widely and hugged me tightly. "How was work honey?"

I sighed pulling away from her embrace "Tiring but then again when isn't it? Where's Yumi?" I asked my mother not seeing my daughter hooked around her hip like usual.

She just laughed "Relax sweetheart Yumi's fine do you think I'd ever let anything happen to my own grandchild?" I felt myself loosen up at her words but still couldn't help my motherly instincts of not seeing my child.

I smile at her "Mom I know you'd never let harm come her way I'm sorry I just can't help but be worried. My daughter is everything to me if anything ever happened to her I don't know what I'd do."

My mother just awed at my words smiling too "Now you know how I felt when I had you."

I laughed she's right. You'll never know till you have kids of your own. "Indeed. So where my little angel at mom?"

My mom pointed to my little angels bedroom and the lights were off and the door was shut. "I actually managed to convince her to sleep before you got home." My mother stated proudly.

Normally Yumi stays up to wait for me to come home and then sleeps as I read her a princess story.

"Aww. What a good girl she'll definitely be getting her favorite pancakes tomorrow." My mom cooed and started pinching my cheeks saying how much of a great mother I am.

"Mother please!" I begged as she wouldn't let go of my cheeks. She laughed and stopped pinching my cheeks as she grabbed her bag from one of the island chairs in the kitchen then came back out and hugged me.

"Alright I'll be leaving now. School starts in a week I'm sure your busy enough with getting ready for that and I don't want to keep you up late it's already twelve in the morning. Besides you have a guest I'll let him keep you up." She said pointing to the living room before waving goodbye closing the door behind her.

I slowly made my way to the living room curious as to who could be here. Only three people know where I live as I would like to keep my daughter a secret till I graduate from high school.

As soon as I stepped into the living room and saw brown fluffy hair I knew who it was immediately. One of my best friends Kyungsoo who also happens to be one of three that knows where I live.

This is going to be a long night I can already tell.
"Kyungsoo? What are you doing here this early in the morning?"

As soon as he heard my voice he turned around slightly smiling as I noticed his puffy tear stained eyes and he just looked like a crying mess.

"Woah! Are you okay Kyungsoo what happened? You know it's not good for the baby for you to be stressed right?" I said gently rubbing his back as I sat next to him on my couch waiting for his response.

"It's Jongin" he softly mumbles tears threatening to spill from his eyes once more.

I could only guess it was. Kyungsoo's been visiting me a lot more now every time he and Jongin fight. Which has been almost everyday lately.

Worst he won't tell me what they fight about. Today I'll get it out. "Kyungsoo please tell me what you two have been fighting about lately I can't let you two go on like this. Especially for the baby's sake."
