We start to trick or treat and every house we stop at that is home asks "oh and what are you girls!" as I feel I should respond with "I'm a Taco Bell packet, duh!" I don't. I dressed up with Allison and Avery because Jena didn't want to dress up. we dressed up like those packets at Taco Bell you know the mild hot stuff.
So you know those houses that say take one and you see the three year old take one then the girl walks away with her dad and you turn around and take the whole bowl, well I don't know about you but I just can not resist the candy. we make our way to the end/ bottom of the neighborhood and see a car parked in the middle of the street, we all suddenly get curious.
We see a man and a women dressed on a zombie costume I see that he gets out of the car and runs toward me. I start to run away and the woman gets out and I see her mouth is duck taped shut. I keep running with the girls and he speeds up and do you ever get that feeling when your running to fast and you feel like your legs are going to fall off well I am running as fast as I can and I can't speed up anymore. I fall down to my knees and I see terrible cuts and burns, the man drags me by my legs and my hands are still on the ground. I am to tired to fight back so I give up.
He shoves me in the back right seat and shuts and locks the door. I try to kick the door open but it's no use, I suddenly remember my mom gave me her old beaten up phone to me I think for a minute or two... should I call my mom or 911 or do I wait until he will eventually stop for gas, I decide to wait.
He pulls into a houses driveway and duck tapes my mouth and ties my hands together. I try to kick and fight him but he just gets angrier. He pulls me and the girl in the front seat out and drags us into a house I look up and notice it's the 'sacred' house. I look at her hand and frightfully grab it shaking, he yells at us "well what are you waiting for go in!" This was not the way I wanted to spend halloween night.
I walk in still holding her hand, she rips the tape off of my mouth and I scream. She looks around and pulls out a flashlight that was in her pocket, she then unties my hands. I ask "so... what's your name?" She says "Taitlynn, you." I say " Josephine but you can call me Josie." she tries to start a conversation but it doesn't work because I'm to scared to even open my mouth. I hear an intercom turn on and I recognize that it's the man, he says that the only way we can find our way is that there's a light and under it is an wigi board we must play! I start to shake and so does Taitlynn.
We play the board and Taitlynn has a mini seizure I start to scream calling her name she finally snaps out of it and is sweating. We act like nothing ever happened and walk away through a small room and I see a bloody a hand print that says 'Happy halloween' when Taitlynn moves the light. I look up and tap her shoulder she turns quickly and looks and sees the same thing.
We make it out of the house but right before we open the door I call my mom and 911, they both said they are on their way soon. I take a big breathe and Taitlynn grabs my hand which slowly calms me and soothes me by her soft voice. He looks at us surprised and said "wow I'm surprised you both survived I've had multiple girls go in and only one or two of them have come out other than you two fine women!" he grabs our hands and carries or drags us back to the car and shoves us both in the back.
I wondered why he wanted me I'm just a nice brunette girl, that's all. He says "hello girls I'm your temporary owner for one and I'm Jay." I look at Taitlynn and whisper to her "owner, yeah that's what he thinks!" she giggles as do I. I'm worried to look up and see a deadly scowl, but I do look up and I see jay smiling saying what's so funny. I giggle and don't respond neither does Taitlynn.
We stop the car in front of a mansion and I can't help but drop my mouth. I ask "where are we?" he responds with "Colorado, yes I know we started in Kansas." I look back up at the house and my mouth instantly drops again. "how can you afford this?" maybe my kidnapped life will be better then my un kidnapped life, wait how can I say that I don't want to be kidnapped ever again! he whispers in my ear and in Taitlynn's ear and says " I'll never hurt you guys."
