Jay told Taitlynn and I he would take us to our families on the way home. Jay said he would miss us and he would visit even though my parents wouldn't like it.
He takes us back to his house and I ask to take one last bath before I leave, he agrees and I soak in the hot water. After my bath I go into Taitlynn's room and bawl into her shoulders, she hugs me back and cries. I told her to call my family so we can hang out some time.
Jay drives us home and pulls into my driveway first, I say goodbye with small tears in my eyes. I move up to the steps and open the front door to my house. I run into my parents room with my arms open waiting for a hug.
When I saw my mom again I could see hope on her eyes knowing at one point or another I would be home again. I cry in her arms like I was a kid still and told her how shockingly amazing it was there. I saw my friends and I knew I was home and that this wasn't a dream.

As I saw my new best friend leave the car I was deeply sorry this had ever had to happen on the first place, she was a good person. Jay drove me to my house and waved goodbye to me as I waved back. I walked up into my house seeing my family praying in a group hoping for me to make it home alive. I run in and play duck duck goose with them, like I did all the time even though I'm a sixteen year old girl. I saw my little brother running towards me with his arms wide open. my mother and father speed walking to me with joy filled inside of themselves. I felt like I was home at last.
