9. Confessions Pt. 1

a/n: Grab your holy water, before reading. Also this chap is practially all dialogue. (It's not gonna stay like this for long, don't worry) 

KTH, POV - Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi are at EatJin's. 

"Babybear!" Jimin shouts as he embraces Taehyung for a hug 

"Yah! Jiminie, you're embarrassing me. Tae blushes and pokes the older male's sides

"You scared me Tae, I had no idea where you left off to last night." Jimin smirks "though according to your text this morning I don't need to be worried, hmmm?" 

Tae nearly chokes on his coffee whenever Jimin and Hoseok begin questioning him about his night "Listen, I'd love to tell you guys some steamy story about meeting my sexting God of a number neighbor in person BUT there's nothing. He genuinely just took care of me and made sure I was safe. It was nice." and it didn't go unnoticed by the two men on the other side of the table the shy smile that forced it's way on Tae's face as he explained what transpired. 

"Alright, you said you have Tea. You bitches better spill, I only have a 45 minute lunch break today!" 

"Well, I'll let Hobs take the mic on this one, it's his tea to spill anyways" Jimin nudges his shoulder with an eyebrow wiggle 

"So, ya know Chaeyoung's been mentoring me for awhile now? Well a couple months back, she started getting super flirty. One night we were practicing some dance moves together and as cliche as it sounds we got too into it--and maybe had some pretty intense sex up against the mirror in the dance studio." Hobi and Jimin are chuckling and Taehyung is doing his best to keep a poker face because right now he wants to go back to Jungkook's house and punch Chaeyoung in the face for doing this to  him 

"Okay that was months ago? Soooo what about last night?" Tae winks

"Well, as you saw she was super clingy. Has been ever since she found out about, uh, the pregnancy." he rubs his neck "I invited her to stay the night. She's been staying the night about twice a week for the last month. We had a really great night, God you guys I think I'm really in love with her. I've never felt like this with someone before."m 

Tae chokes on his coffee again and feels tears swelling up. blame it on the choking. Thank God for Park Jimin because he takes over the conversation "Hobs... who's the baby's dad?"

"That's the thing.. she doesn't know. Um.. listen, don't hate me you guys..." and Tae already knows what is coming "Chae is engaged...but before you start yelling about how horrible she is listen. Her guy, he's not exactly the best. She says that he's like a zombie. All he's done the last year of their relationship is work, eat, sleep, repeat. On top of that, a little while back she caught him having an affair.. she's caught him several times on the phone with this secret mistress and she was really tore up about it." 

Tae scoffs "Was that before or after you fucked her in the dance studio?" 

"Woah. Why are you so bothered? I don't know when that was Tae. I don't question her. We didn't mean to fall in love you know? It was originally just a friendship. You think I'm proud of myself? Fuck. It eats me alive everyday but I can't help it." Hoseok, Jimin and Tae are all in tears right now but for different reasons "I really really love her, you guys. I want to be with her. but she won't do anything until she knows who the baby's father is. She says she l-loves me too but..she's gonna be with whoever the father of her child is...because that's what matters the most." 

"OH MY FUCKING CHRIST!" Tae shouts and gets the attention of the whole coffee place "So she's stringing you and her fiance along. The whole nine months and whoever the baby looks like is who she's staying with? Do you hear how fucked this is Hoseok?!!"
