Underestimation

By that title, I think it's safe to assume you know the topic of this chapter.

So much to be done outside of this website. I have to catch up on many things. I promised I would come back, but now I don't think I can - at least art-wise. Not officially.

So here we are again. In a sort of limbo.

But, I have plenty of writing in regards to a group present on DeviantArt. I've briefly explained this world before somewhere, but for those who don't want to dig I'll re-explain.

The Wandering Scrapheap. It's a group I've been apart of for the last two-ish years, and it's incredibly complicated in lore. There are more than 20 mecha characters involved in this story, and most have extensive designs, backgrounds, and connections to other characters. I'd take all day explaining it all, so I'll just hammer home the basics.

This group's story is in a universe related to Transformers. No, not the Bay Movies, a different continuity called More than Meets the Eye (MTMTE, respectively). The group's name, the Wandering Scrapheap (also known as WSH), is the name of a colony ship most of the main events take place on.

For now, let's just say the ship itself is not as it seems.

Have some promotional art that is also posted on my DA of this group specifically.

There are a few more 'poster's on my DA, on my account under the name Sacyo if you want to check them all out!

All in those pictures are characters from the Wandering Scrapheap group. The three in the first are all owned by me (some of you may recognize Elf on the far right). The second one is Desna, third is Countenance, and fourth is Airwolf - all of them owned by different, very close friends I consider family (Mudd, Fizz, and Pixel respectively). These are not all of the characters main characters - rather, they are all equally part of a huge plot.

Everyone in said group has put a lot of time and effort into writing this story - I only own a small segment of it, and it's bigger than all of us.

Now that you have a grasp of the group and story I'm talking about, I'll be posting writing from this group. I know Transformers carries a sort of reputation because of the Bay movies and multiple completely different continuities, but I seriously want you guys to give this all a shot. I started in the fandom being incredibly skeptical and I only knew the big names... until I realized just how interesting it all could be, how colorful the characters are, and just how deep the experience can take you. You just have to know where to look.

....I'm not saying you should start with my writings, because even my work can get a bit confusing. If anything, I highly recommend you try reading the MTMTE comics. Not only does it give more depth to characters, but it has a sort of sarcastic humor I know some of you will love. Be warned, though, these comics are not all happy dandy - they give a take on some reallly dark shit, and some of it happens in a startlingly horrific fashion.

Okay, went off on a tangent. Basically, I'll share the writings I wrote specifically for the group, with only my characters for the sake of everyone else's work. All of that will eventually be posted on DA...I think. We're still working on that.

But...yeah. Less art, more writing.

See you guys!

Good vibes all around!
